I watched the 1st season of the "new" Doctor Who, and thought it was a pretty good show. Though I watched it on WTTW, a regular TV station and know wonder why it never returned to regular television. Bad rating's or something? Can anyone answer my question?

um...stop with the attitude bud, it'll give you a heart attack. the likelihood is they couldn't get licensing after it was picked up by sci fi and bbc america.
And either the majority of regular posters on this section of K-Site are British (so don't have a clue as to what WTTW even is) or just don't know the reason. What do you want, 27 messages saying "no idea"? ;)
Besides, if you get the Sci-Fi Channel the shows are first run on there over there, and then a repeat on BBC America well before the PBS and other channels get it.
