Not to come to the rescue of Pete, but the green K did alter his attitude...or atleast according to Clark. It's not like he would really know....he hasnt seen the guy in 3 years. I would be more upset if he didnt have a good reason. True, it was stupid...and dangerous, but I guess his heart was in the right place? I dont think he thought about the effect it would have on Clark.

Yes!!! I thought the exact same thing when I was watching. WTF??? I always try to bend over backwards to explain away these pesky little mistakes the writers seem not to give two shits about. So to me, Pete thought he'll be right back after killing Lex to save Clark. I know, not the strongest line of thought but it works for me.

I agree. Even if the Green K did alter his mind, he knew about Clark's weaknesses. It's like Clark on Red Kryptonite. He doesn't do the stuff that he'd usually do, but what he does has always been on his mind. He just never had the courage to carry them out.

Everyone forgets that Kryptonite is supposed to be fatal to Clark... I mean hasn't every character exposed Clark to kryptonite at least once just to incapacitate him for one reason or another? Pete is just the latest example.

I don't think anyone of those guys really know the outcome of kryptonite. To them they know hey this keeps clark from ****ing my plans so I'll just do this...and with the writers I kno someone will come and save him lol
