View Full Version : Nu Who Season 4 Start Date possibly revealed

According to http://www.bbcpictures.com/, which is the site that our TV Guides get their listings from, apparently Season Four will start in "Week 16" - that's between the 12th and 18th of April, and would be the Saturday after Torchwood finishes its BBC2 run so would be perfectly feasible.

Obviously, unless you work for a magazine, the Beeb or some other accredited body we can't get confirmation of it yet as the site is passworded - and those that do have access will be under an embargo. As such this should still be treated as a rumour - but a very solid one.

Oh, and US Airdates:

4/18 - Voyage of the Damned (our Christmas special)
4/25 - Season 4 starts

So looks like not only do we get your telly quicker now, you get ours too!

It said on the DWO (Doctor Who Online) site that it was either starting on the 5th/12th April, not the 18th, where did you get the dates from?

I think you've got confused - week 16 as said above is 12th - 18th April ie, that's the range of dates. As the Saturday in that week is the 12th, that fits in with DWO's guess.

Air dates are usually embargoed until three weeks before - so if it was the 5th we'd know already, so the 12th is now all but confirmed. Unless we don't hear anything this weekend then it'll be later!

Oh, and the source was named in the first post! :)

Been confirmed as week 15 in the UK now - so that should mean April 5th.

Just looking at the official Who site on the bbc and it is the 5th of April that season 4 starts, they also have a nice little trailer there aswell.

Yep its April 5th! They showed a clip on The Friday Night Project, if any1 in UK watched it?

There was this woman who had a sonic screwdriver aswell, and the doctor and her were havin a little sonic power struggle :P

Definately 5th April, for the UK at least! At 6.20pm! It has said so in the Doctor Who Magasine, on the Doctor Who online site, and on one of the Doctor Who trailers!

WooHoo! Not long to go now till it starts! Can't Wait!
