OK maybe Jor-El can't but all that time that he was waiting with Chloe for oh 18 hours why didn't he pop by to Jor-El and ask about restoring Kara's memory other than the LEXARA rubbish that we will now have to put up with until the end of the season:\:(

Maybe he hasn't been close with Jor-El after he decided to make him a popsicle for about a month. Or Chloe's eulogy might have been taking forever to write.
I think that it might be over next episode...if we're lucky. :p

I don't think I'd be prepared to trust Jor-El after that imprisoning either.
Clark: Jor-El, I need your help. Kara...
Jor-El: First you must do something for me, Kal-El. There is an item hidden somewhere and you must find it before the next full moon.
Clark: Could you be a bit more specific?
Jor-El: I am tired of your insolence and rebellion! I'm going to lock you up again and force you to listen to Paris Hilton CDs!

Exactly. I wouldn't trust Jor el after he put Clark in the deep freeze for weeks knowing full well how much Clark is always needed.

Yeah, Jor-El isn't too high on the trust list right now. Plus, that would make it hard for us to see that even after all these years, Lex is still obsessed with knowing the Truth about Clark. Although I love how he's manipulating Kara to his ends.

Putting aside the fact that AI is a sadistic psycho who recently froze Clark in ice for no darned good reason, did the AI also make it clear that Kara was not its concern?

It's Jor-El's fault that she lost her memories in the first place.

^Here we go again... At the end of "Blue" Jor-el said he had nothing to do with what happened to Kara. Zor-el is to blame for her memory loss and lack of powers.

Actually he had a good reason. But whether freezing Clark served its purpose is another matter.

Actually, I love watching Lex's interactions with everyone (except maybe Lana), so I'm not sad that they've set it up this way. It's pretty complicated...Kara is actually an alien but doesn't know it, secretly works with Lex to uncover her memories, Clark tries to keep Kara out of Lex's radar but Kara resists Clark's intervention...meanwhile what can Clark do? Can he tell Kara that she's an alien? Would she flip out? She doesn't have any powers, so what would be the point of telling her and robbing her of a potentially normal life? At least from Clark's perspective. Meanwhile, Kara and Clark's relationship will be strained if Clark keeps it from her.
Not a terrible plot, IMO. Of course, I like the dynamics of the different relationships on this show, and always have. I like watching Lex be a snake, but convince others that he's not. So I don't mind this plot.

No, actually he didn't have a good reason, IMO. There's absolutely no good to come from that sort of sadisitic, short-sighted, moronic, evil type of punishment. AI Jor-El is a failure.
And if the purpose was for Clark to realize how highly screwed up the AI Jor-El is, then I for one hope it accomplished its purpose.
Obviously, YMMV

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Clark's behaviour in "Blue" deserved punishment, especially because he lacked any capacity of learning from previous mistakes.
On the other hand turning him into a popsickle was a lame form of punishment and didn't accomplish anything but making CK feel sorry for himself and hate Jor-el even more.

LOL!
I just don't get it. I guess they were using Jor-el as a plot device to give Bizarro an opportunity to take over his life but... it's just so goofy. I think we needed to see the conversation between Jor-el and Clark after Bizarro left the fortress. Even if it was Clark saying, "I'm never coming back here again you sick psycho." Then we wouldn't wonder why Clark doesn't go to Jor-el for help in finding Kara.

There's no way Clark would have left her side for even a moment. I thought that was clear from the past 7 years of this show.....
