Torchwood Character changes

I am just a newbie posting here, but I have an observation about Torchwood. Has anyone else noticed the changes in relationship roles within the team and how Owen has become a bit less cocky. I miss the old Owen.

I think that's to address a lot of the criticisms of Series 1. The team dynamic seems to have been changed, and for the better in my view.

Will be interesting this week to see how Owen responds to Rhys...

I haven't seen much of Series 2 yet, but I'm kind of glad they toned down Owen... he was SO unlikeable in the first series that I didn't care for him much at all.

I have to say that I generally like the changes and I can understand the need to recoup from season 1. I just finished "Last Man Standing" so far my favorite of season 2. I am very happy to see a bit openness coming from Jack. I am really looking forward to seeing Martha Jones again.
