It's ironic that Lana says this to Chloe after accepting a Clark that would jet off to Paris whilst his only living biological relative, who's still new to Earth, is missing.

And I guess in the end it was obvious which girl knew him better.

I think Biz told Lana that he gave up looking for Kara when she asked about her.

Clark didn't even give up on Lex until there was nothing left. Lana should know that.

She should. But I think she got caught up in the whole loving relationship with bizi and didn't bother to notice the changes.

She probably thought: "So he's a little different. Who cares? I'm finally getting some."
