Lex has tried "Bugging" Lionel office

why either of them has not tried to bug the kent farm? what gives? Lex knows that Clark spends most of his time in the barn, so why not bug it.

Who remeber's roger nixon? he was the reporter who figured out clarks secret. how may u ask? he snooped around the kent farm...granted he boobytrapped the truck to explode but all he really had to do is just sit around the farm and catch clark using his powers.

so IMO the luthers, for such brilliant and powerful men, are having a giant brain fart when it comes to this idea

i dont want to go into fanfic too much but lets speculate that one of the luthors have a guy to follow clark and bug the barn. one day clark comes home and helps his dad find.........um.......his car keys. using his x-ray vision he happens to find a couple of listening devices and a couple of minicams. as clark starts to collect the devices, the unknown spy attempts to gather all of his info to turn in before he is found. But before the guy can pick up his phone clark finds him.........
