I've noticed a few curiosities in these episodes. First off, Ma Petrelli's mention of Pandora's boxhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora%27s_box. Pandora was, according to the Greek myth, the first woman. So that remark could very well mean that she herself might do something crazy, and not Peter like everyone seems to think.
Now for Pandora's box itself. It was in fact a jar Pandora carried with her, containing the worst miseries mankind could face, but also its antidote: hope. Does that ring a bell? Adam thought releasing the virus would save the world.

Discuss any other mythical references or symbolisms you've seen in this episode.
