I think it's awesome how Hiro tucked him away in there. I think they left it open ended so that he could come back. But in a way - Hiro needed to kill Adam - he should have just done that.

i was thinking the same thing that SUCKS BIG TIME he will be seeing the same place for hundreds of years, there wont be a single moment he will have even human interaction, though he tried to wipe out almost every one in tha whole world, he might even go crazy

When they revealed what Hiro did to Kensei I thought "Mwahahahahaha! That's what you get for killing Hiro's dad!" I actually thought it was kinda hilarious seeing Kensei just banging away at the coffin screaming for someone to let him out.

In all honesty, he will definitely return. As long as his brain isn't destroyed, he still has his ability. He can take as much time as he needs to keep banging on that wooden coffin till it splinters open. And then, although he isn't super-strong, because of his healing factor he can probably take all the time he needs to dig his way to the surface.

And once he's back, Hiro and Peter better be careful...

What I want to know is how did Hiro get him in there in the first place? Did he teleport himself and Kensei in there? If so how did Hiro get out without accidentally teleporting Kensei out with him? Theres not a whole lot of room inside a coffin to distance himself.

Am I just over thinking this?

Kensei will get out. I mean, he has plenty of time. Without having to worry about dying, he could probably get up six feet in a matter of days or weeks.

That said, the next volume is "Villains". Yeah we have Sylar back, but come on! all the villains hafta shine!

Remember Hiro can stop time so he could of stopped time. teleported Kensei to the coffin then left. Kensei isnt like peter, he is affected by the Hiros stopping time power.

Adam's fate, ending up in a coffing, is rather symbolic and reminds me of the last scene of Alias when Sloane, after being made immortal, gets trapped in a cave and is buried in the rubble. Forever and alone.

No you're not but I assume that Hiro buried him there. The dirt was fresh so maybe Hiro subdued Adam and then buried him down there. There's no way Hiro could teleport down there and then back out without worrying Adam might just touch him again to get out with him. That's my guess though.

I don't think that even without air that he will die. His brain is not like our brains in the sense that they need oxygen to survive. I think the cells that die off are instantly replaced by new ones. Now I am not sure if he would be in some catotonic like state or just keeping suffocating and reviving, but someone is bound to hear him above ground. I am thinking he will be back and be really pissed off.

When Peter shocked Hiro and everything went back to normal, it took Adam a second to realize it was Hiro. That's because after a while, Hiro never really crossed his mind again.

Adam wanted to purge the world of bad people. He thought he was doing a good thing, but ultimately, that's only God's job. That had nothing to do with Hiro.

Hmm, someone like... Sylar, maybe? Would be interesting. Maybe they would team up. Volume 3 is called villains after all. But Sylar is in New York. The cemetery is in Japan. How and why will he (Sylar) ever end up near that cemetery? If the writers figure that one out (assuming they will return to writing some day) they surely deserve a better payment.
