actually none of the deaths are shown.

The way his mom talked it didn't seem like Nathan had died, and even the news report just says he was shot, not that he was killed.

I think they chose right. Neither Nathan nor Niki (alliteration, hehe!) were especially important this season. Nathan was barely in it at all, and when he was, he was either *****ing or moping or providing a means of transport. Niki was also barely in it, and now Micah has the classic hero combo: a power and no parents. I smell a team-up: Copy-Cat, and her sidekick, Technoboy!

Seriously though, they were probably the two least interesting characters (aside from los wonder twins) and i say good riddance.

I was glad that Niki bought it - but I was surprised they kept Maya. I was really surprised that Nathan got shot!!! I hope he comes back.

I believe they've made the right choices.When you take a step back and really look at it. They both make sense.

Nikki was for most people, a boring character who never grew character wise. Sure she turned it around during the last part of the season , but reverted to the same old storyline from last season. Of course the actress will be missed. Ali Larter was a true gem, but come on...lets be honest it was going to happen sooner than later.

As for Nathan. I felt he was going to die, just didn't think it'd be this soon. He was his brothers keeper and for those who've watched every episode have come to realize that Peter doesn't need his big brother anymore.

I liked both Nikki and Nathan.

I was hoping Maya would be gotten rid of (although in tonight's episode, she actually wasn't that annoying for once) and not sure who I would have prefered the other person to be.

In any case, Mischael12 does havea point, the news report just says Nathan was shot. If he'd died (yet, anyway) the report would have definitely mentioned it. Here's hoping Nathan survives.

And Nikki definitely died in that huge explosion, but maybe if Mohinder arrives late with another vial of Claire's blood...

I dont' think Mohinder has anymore blood. I am pretty sure he only had a couple shots left. Sylar took the last one. That is why he thought of Nikki when he saw it was gone. I also remember him saying he could not make any more of the cure.

True, but if Mohinder could convince Claire to give a shot more, maybe he could still save Nikki. I mean, I know Claire and her family now hate the Company (and probably Mohinder) with a passion, but if Mohinder can talk to Claire while Noah is out of the house I think she'd be willing to save a life.

Although if Noah walks in and sees Mohinder standing in his house...well do I even have to finish the thought? :lol:

i saw nathans death a million miles away it was so obvious he was gonna get shot when he walked up to the podium, its an obvious assasination plot, as for nikki i also saw her death coming but i didnt want to see her die poor micah from 2 parents to daddy in jail to 2 parents to mommy and her psycho problems to 2 parents then daddy got shot to 2 parents to mommy and another psycho to daddy getting shot again, then mommy with a virus to no mommy at all. he might even turn evil or something it certainly does fit, in the beggining he starts off as the most willing person to become a hero and the most optimistic, then to completely turn due to a traumatic experience. i really wanna kno 1. who was the killer and 2. is that pandoras box a metaphor or a real thing because in that spacial room i saw alot of things like cards and stuff and i was really hoping they would elaborate on the meaning of the things. sorry its so long

Heh, it'd be kind of cool seeing Micah as a villain, although weird. I mean, his power isnt really... villain-y.. It's not dangerous, really (Well, I guess in some cases)

Also, did anyone else see the brain that as in the room with the virus? Imagine if Sylar was there, he wouldnt even hesitate, he'd sink his teeth in.

actually, they've left the door wide open for Adam, Nikki, and Nathan. There was no official word that Nathan is dead except for the word "gunned down", he could still be alive or be revived. They didn't show Nikki dying in the explosion, she could have escaped and we know Adam will have his revenge. Its pathetic how the writers brought so much attention to the Whiny Twins who cannot act to save their lives and "killed off" Nikki and Nathan who brought so much into the characters. They could have been better if they receive more airplay. To hell with new heroes showing up if they're not going to delve deep into these characters.

The killer is most likely Noah Bennet and not Bob that shot Nathan Petrelli twice. It is sad I really hoped it was Mohinder instead of Nathan he was kicking butt in that episode. I fine it entertaining how he talks to his brother so calm and get the job done and just before he was about to say he can fly they SHOT HIM omg!. Man so lame I hope Claire comes to the rescue and recover her biological dad somehow.

Nikki is so not dead we'll see her again some how they didn't even explain about her other side where she gets possessed by someone else. Perhaps Peter might be possessed by Jessica or Nikka :p that would be weird.

HRMM did Peter use the hatian's power to block out Matt's cool powers? It worked at first because he didn't use the hatian power perhaps at the time where he let Hiro go but then he blocked it out afterwards?

Niki I won't miss and doubt that she's dead.

One of her personality's probably came back suddenly

I've re-watched the scene where Nathan gets shot. The killer doesn't look like HRG, maybe it's some other villain working for the Company and who will be one of the leading bad guys in the third volume.
