Why Does Peter want Adam alive

I dont understand why Peter wants Adam alive. Two people have told him he is evil and now he is about to fight a fellow hero. If its about his healing blood doesnt he relize his own neice can do the same thing?! he needs to think things through more

i think that he is way ahead on this one. if he got all his memory back then he knows how to control all his powers. like when he from the spark in his hands. i think he knows he is the only one that can truely stop adam.

Adam saved Peter so thats why I think he goes along with Adam. He just hasn't figured out that Adam is bad guy. Adam did a good job of feeding him some BS to keep him going along.
