Hmm...
Envoy's are made in Ohio,
and Tom Selleck is (http://tigers.mlb.com/) a Tiger fan.
Looks like there is basis for Kara appearing in Detroit:

Oops, my bad. I knew about Selleck being a Tiger's fan. I added that for humor purposes, as this poll is mainly for.

Or...she is there to meet someone awesome...Green Lantern John Stewart. I would really like to see that.

Huh. That's interesting - Rosey. Smallville writers are reaching for material a bit, aren't they?
And it's not soda, it's POP. Maybe she's getting the Clark an F-150.

Say soda and no one in Michigan will know WTH you're talking about.

Yeah, I forgot about that. My good friend went to University of Michigan & started calling it pop too.

Everyone from the suburbs says they're from Detroit so how do we know she actually ended up in Detroit.

So you're saying she could be in Auburn Hills?

It would have to be in one of the suburbs closer because you don't see a lot of three road intersections in the burbs. Of course, I'de be willing to bet good money they didn't film it in Detroit or anywhere nearby, so who knows.

I don't think she was technically sent there. I think the backlash of being so close to Zor' El when the blue crystal was destroyed sent her flying. It would probably account for her memory loss as well.

Of course they didn't. They filmed it in the Detroit district of Vancouver. :p

No one in Detroit ever says district unless they are refering to high school sports.

It was originally in Happy Harbor, Rhode Island. Then Young Justice started using the building and the JL went to Metropolis in Delaware.

That was a joke BTW. Just like how Vancouver had a Caribbean district/sector that was used to film Lex's scenes in Exile.

It was a good joke, it's just I wasn't clear on what you meant by district. Thought you were talking suburb but wasn't sure.
With all the filming for movies and tv in Vancouver it must look like Disney World.

I'm guessing Freddy vs. Jason was filmed there. I can't believe how many people who were in Smallville were in that movie:
-The nerd from Delete (also played Ronald Resnick aka "Mandroid Guy" in Supernatural)
-Sarah Conroy from Slumber (also played Ava in Supernatural)
-Kevin Grady's father from Blank
-Troy from Shimmer & Redux/Billy Durden from Spirit
-Orlando Block from Sneeze
-The co-pilot in Crusade (in the "Is it a bird, is it a plane" part)
-Coop from Recruit
-Wade Mahaney's girlfriend from Kinetic

Since the news (as of today, 11/18) says that Detroit is the most dangerous city in America, Kara is probably trying to keep from being murdered.

I think she still has her powers but doesn't know it. I think she's like a Kryptonian who lost her memory/identity and has no idea where she is or that on Earth she would have powers. I don't even know if she knows what Earth or Krypton are or that she's from Krypton. With amnesia, you usually remember basic things like the name of the planet, the city, etc, but I know what she has isn't your basic amnesia.

She is most likely popping out of cakes sent to the Detroit Pistons locker room.

Detroit is not as bad as people make it out to be. I went there for a vacation earlier this year in April, to be honest I was little worried about all the talks of it being really dangerous but everyone was really friendly and nice to me. I really enjoyed eating at the Hockeytown Cafe and watching live NBA games. And I even went to Ford Field to watch Mania 23, it was a nice time.
