God I hated that part, her gaining powers does not excuse what she did. She could have very well used those powers for good, but she chose the other path.

This was a new low on the dumb scale for Clark. And somehow, the seismic Clana sex cheapened the future relationship of Lois and Clark for me. As sad as this sounds, I can't either. Virtually everything from the ridiculous and vulgar sex with Clark nothing for damage or that Lana was not right or that she would be hurt by having his abilities or not answering his phone when it might have been a real emergency because hey, Dumbass Clark, heroes are on call 24/7 and he could have taken two seconds to answer because then Chloe ahd to make a long trip to SV just to find Clark is indeed an ******* of huge proportions. It was contrives soley for the Clana sex and the only great part was Chloe standing up to Lana but it should have been much more heated. I don't disagree that Chloe having sex over the summer with some random guy is bad (even though millions of teenagers everyday have sex with people they don't know, its called a one night stand, stupid, but still nothing wrong with it, I'd never do it but back to my point) but Clark did not and does not know Lana Lang. He knew what he built up in his mind, this sweet innocent girl next door; which she never was and now definitely will never be. That's Clark's fault for thinking so highly of her, putting her on a pedestal, and now its Lana's fault for being such a psycho path. The clana sex was gross now, even though it was gross before as well, because he knew she was hiding something still, he knew she was darker than he remembered, and he knew he couldn't trust her, yet he still has sex with her, yeah that is very future supermanish

Well I actually really liked this episode. The only thing I didn't like and thought a little odd was how Lana was affected by Kryptonite - huh?? Lana is still human not kryptonian so why would it have any effect on her?

All the other krypto freaks that have got Clark's power have never displayed any vulnerability to kryptonite. I swept the whole Lana taking to her new found super powers like a duck to water thing under the carpet but this was just wrong - obviously a plot device to stop Lana from killing Lex in the lab. If she was invulnerable to the kryptonite then Clark would have been powerless to stop her from opening up a fatal can of whoop ass on Lex.

Other thing I didn't like was Lois and Grant - there is just no way you would go to your boss' office and talk about your sexual chemistry and then kiss him. Unless it's as I suspect Lois is going to find out about Grant being Lex's hand puppet then she will try to expose Grant & Lex and be out of a job. Then we'll have another scene with her and Clark when she laments over choosing the wrong guy and Clark will say some fore shadowing thing again.

The only scene that I hate and would delete from smallville at any cost would be the sismic Clana scene... I really hate it really really... it was really dumb, pointless and not funny at all...
