Clanafans' thoughts or at least positive ones

I have started this thread because I am tired of the usual complaints from clana haters and so I am hoping to hear what clana fans thought about this episode or at least hear anyone who has something POSITIVE to say. Also I would like to nicely ask clana haters or anyone else who has negative opinions to please try and keep your opinions on the other hundred threads you guys have created not that I am telling you guys that you cannot state your opinions its just that I am hoping to hear from those who have something GOOD to say about this episode.

I personally think it is going to get better from here there being open and honest and clark does need to see her as a human she has faults but so does everyone...i think he needs to know that she loves him and accept everything shes done and they can have a great relationship...and i think thats where were heading :)

I liked the opening scene. Clark and Lana doing the horseriding and sharing their time 2gether. This is the thing they've always wanted and couldn't have in the last season. Remember last season where Clark was bouncing the ball in the farm all alone and Lana was literally GONE in his life, for that particular moment I felt bad for the dude. It was tough for him to go thru. But now there she is in his life once again. They should be very happy but too bad things are getting more complicated between them, which is truly sad =)

well i loved the whole "sex scene" part...so classic...and i liked the clana hottness finally!! and im glad lana came clean..lana and clark need to move past this and now this is the time clark needs to prove his real love for lana..now he knows wat lana has done..if he really loves her he gotta forgive her and realize shes not perfect..shes a good person yes..but she is really messed up in the head..cause of lex..so right now lana really needs clark to just love her and be there for her....cause its gonna take soo much for lana to let the hate she has for lex go..i mean lex really messed her up..but i still have faith in CLANA!! <333

Great episode. There were plenty of light-hearted, refreshing moments through out. I loved the Clana in it, of course, as well as the Chloe, Lana, and Clark scene in the kitchen. They have great chemistry together as actors. :D

And as for the last conversation between Clana, I think they'll continue to grow from it and mature as a couple. :)

In some ways, I think this is the healthiest their relationship has ever been or at least they are both seeing each other clearly and fairly. (Though that may be a bad thing for them staying together)

All of the secrets (Both Lana's and Clark's) are out in the open and Clark has somewhat had his "Lana-blinders" removed, seeing all sides of her now. I think either Lana will let the Lex thing go and Clark will be able to see the part of her he loves/loved. Or, she will hold onto her Lex obsession and it will drive them apart. But at least all the cards are finally on the table between them.

Even Lana/Clana haters got what they wanted which is Lana admitted her responsibility for her actions…twice in the same scene.

The events in this episode are probably the best thing that could have happened in their relationship. Now everything is out in the open. They can finally see if their relationship is for real or not. Built on the reality not the fantasy. We know it will eventually end as per the mythology and even admitted to by AlMiles but it will probably last most of this season.

No, it was never nice because Lana has always been self-centered and manipulative and always looking out for herself first. She's made a fool of everyone who ever treated her nicely and she has always been the same psychotic, vengeful girl we see now. She's just gone over the edge although she was hurting people long before she got Clark's powers (Jason's mother-covered up by the Luthors when she first threw in with them behind Clark's back). It was always sad and rather revolting to see the hero have the wool pulled over his eyes by a pretty face housing a dark and nasty interior. Clark now looks like the biggest moron ever.

Clana and especially the Clana sex trashed the hero's characer and it was unnecesary and inexcusable. Lana Should be locked up for her crimes; she deserves no sympathy because it was her choice to do these nasty things, with or without powers.

The supersex was offensive and needlessly disgusting. The Clana relationship has never been healthy and this shows it at its very worst. Lana has done some horrible things such as kidnapping and torturing people and that is not a part of any healthy or even decent relationship. Clark cannot have any relationship with a girl who does things like this. He's supposed to be a hero and heroes don't associate with people who kill and torture others.

I'm glad that Clark has his Lana blinders off. I also liked a lot that so much was revealed to the characters in this episode. Does anyone else feel that there is still something more to what was going on with Lana though? I feel like we haven't gotten the whole picture yet. Like she said she was holding Lionel captive to protect Clark but is there more there, and more to everything she's been up to? I like this Lana we've seen lately. There is some real depth to her. I don't know about Clana though... when she said "we can get through this" Clark didn't agree with her or say anything and when she said she needed to know he loved her no matter what we got the fade out. They've always wanted honesty but can Clana really handle the truth?

Let's see,

-The openning sequence was like a dream. So beautiful. I loved the imagery and landscape when we see them riding their horses....I know the producers lately (past couple of seasons) have been shifting a lot more towards the Metropolis scenery, but I have to say that I personally preffer when they showcase "Smallville" in all of its glory, such as in this openning sequence....the farm, the open field landscape, etc. I absolutely loved it....Just really, really beautiful.....they really picked an ideal place for "Smallville" to exist in.

-Clark and Lana's interaction during the whole openning sequence was so sweet. Both Tom and Kristin looked gorgeous! I enjoyed their playful banter through out the scene. And Lana saves Clark to top it all off....perfect. That was funny...especially the look on Lana's face as she raised the windmill lol

-The barn scene was hilarious OMG!!!! First, I love how Lana was like a little girl in a candy shop when trying out Clark's powers....all excited lol I would be too if I had Clark's powers.... I liked how she said "This is so cool" lol And then of course when she tells him about the "benefits" ya know *wink* *wink* Clark... but of course Clark didn't catch on right away lol....then began Lana's "Tango of Seduction"....BRILLIANT use of music ....it just seemed so surreal seeing this on Smallville ... and then BOOM! BOOM! I laughed so hard watching that LOL ... I just kept thinking WHY O' WHY can't Smallville be like this ALL of the time!! You know....fun.

I liked this episode. Clark and Lana are finally having a real relationship. Its not going to be good all the time. Everyone has issues to work through when you are with someone, and Clark and Lana are no different. They are seeing the real way eachother is as a person, not as lana siad "...the perfect image..." of themselves. Each one had an idea of what they wanted to see in the other but neither was ever totally honest, first Clakr and now lana. Now it is about dealing with these issues. Its not that the relationship is over, its just this time there is more between them to deal with and get through. I think they can work through it. Its nice to see the writers not avoiding stuff like this, they are having Clark and Lana deal with eachothers flaws

A few more things I really enjoyed...

-The kitchen scene...First of all seeing KK/Lana wearing nothing but Clark's shirt was...Very Nice :) She looked stunning!! Especially with the slightly wet hair....ok I will stop with my kk gushing lol I loved how Tom delivered his line of "Are you x-raying me" lol That was funny. Oh, and that openning shot of the barn full of holes on the roof along with the wind vane (sp?) all crooked lol Then the interaction of all three when Chloe walks in....it was GREAT. It was just so much fun....it reminded me so much of the beginning of "Hidden" one of my ALL time favorite episodes < and one of the reasons for it was the fun/comedic banter that went on at the start just like in this one.

Anyway there were so many things I liked as well as some things I didn't like but overall the good outweighs those negative aspects.

so true! I also wish it would be like this. I loved the non angst clana and the open way they spoke to each other at the ending. I know there are neagtives in this relationship but I am glad they slowly working through them:)

I just liked the episode period! It had some funny moments, Dark moments, and Sad moments and that made me love it. Everyone's acting was great and I can't complain. It was good!

The only thing negative this epsode did was it turned on my Hatred for the character of Chloe! never hated her actually like her and sypathised with her until Wrath.

Just try and ignore...It is never going to stop or change some just don't like to see anybody happy in these boards lol It seems like the topic of the day is always "NEGATIVITY" lol So, who cares? Just continue to enjoy what you do about the show and I know it is easier said than done, but try not to let the negativity ruin the show's experience for you. :)

Oh, and I wanted to add that I really enjoyed the music selection....Both songs used in the Clark and Lana openning sequence and in the last scene were great ....and of course the Tango music in the barn :lol: I can't get enough of that scene.

Chloe was the only character who behaved decently, like a true heroine should. SHe stood up for the supposed hero even after he behaved like a nasty horndog with no care for Lana's health after being exposed to the K or having his abilities, only having sex with her when he knew she could be harmed by her exposure. That was really crude and repugnant. CHloe called out the bad girl (Lana) and told her she would not allow her to hurt Clark, in other words, doing the work a hero should be doing if he wasn't banging Nasty Lana, the truly psychotic here.

Lana has always been wacko, hanging out in graveyards, taking drugs to die and see her dead parents but now she has moved on to killing and kidnapping and torturing people and with her exposure to exposure to Green K her absolute worst is now out in the open. The producers are the ones who set this up: Green K acts on people's tendencies, lets out the best or, more often, their worst. THis is Lana as she truly is, wacko, vengeful, murderous and, since she kissed Lex then hurt him, I'd say, unfaithful and hateful to the last. Clark has failed his duties as a hero completely to want to bang this nasty piece of work. Lana should be in prison now for her earlier murder of Genevieve Teague or her for her many other crimes. Clark is an ass and an idiot to even go near her much less have sex with this horrible girl.

Okay thats the rules and I for one iam all for following the rules.

But these rules should be implemented all the time - there are comments (not to mention numerous threads) that are posted specifically to flame a character or ship.

I can go into almost every thread in this forum and there are insults for clana and chlark fans. And no one does anything about it. The rules say it is prohibited to say 'how can you all think this way?' and yet above me free_emily says: "Margroks has spoken, ya'all. If you don't agree with her, you're just wrong. Accept it. Don't fight it." Will you then implement the rules?

Please. Don't be so contemptous to quote the rules when they are not even implemented half the time when they need to be. If they were being implemented I would jump off my soapbox right now and keep zip. But I believe someone needs to say this. It's only fair.

I loved this episode, I am such a Clana fan. Although, I didnt see the love, but it was nice that they finally kissed and got together. It made me laugh though. It was a light hearted scene.

I especially loved the final scene where she is telling him to wake up and smell the coffee. The image that he had created in his mind is not the true Lana.
