I can't shake this feeling that the main reason why Chloe went to Knox wasn't because of JUST the cure... but the fact she will lose 6 years of her life... I thought the big sell factor was the memory loss... I mean think about it...she lose her past 6-7 years... she forgets everything that happened to her yes... but it truly allows her to have a normal life... Think about it... knowing Clark's secret, her life isn't normal anymore. and if it's a chance... Also I think it's obvious that Chloe couldn't look clark in the eye when mentioning memory loss and she shrugs it off like it be a few weeks instead of a few years...
Think about it, Chloe's reason is for her to have a normal life...
Chloe won't remember Clark (and all the heart break he caused her because of Lana aka won't have those feelings for him) and his secret aka normal in believing aliens don't exist or something...
Yes the cure was a big factor but I truly think the Memory wipe was the selling point.

Yeah I kinda felt that too...Who can blame the girl. I mean her life sure hasn't been coming up roses lately.

I could see it. It was almost like Clark thought it was his fault because she found out his secret and put more stress on her and he probably thought that's why she was doing it, not because she wanted to be "cured."

Cause that wouldve been killing off the character. lol. i think. and Lois and Clark would let that go and rememember her. Then she wold touch something that made her flashback of a crime she witness blah blah blah cliche'. Yeah....tis wat I thinkk.

I don't agree. Chloe has loved being Clark's secret keeper and has outright said so a few times.
No, Chloe is absolutely mortified at the thought of her being a meteor freak. That's reason enough for behavior. Losing her memory was just the price she was willing to pay for curing her meteor infection.

Chloe loves knowing about Clark and his secret. They're closer more than ever and she loves being on the Justice League team when opportunity strikes. I don't think she's unhappy about anything in her life at all, she just is so desperate not to be a meteor freak she'd do anything.

I agree although that is sad Clark may feel responsible which makes sense but Chloe has been his best friend and he would loose a good friend. Even if he tried to remind her of what happened they would still not be the same and now Clark's only confidaunt would be Lana

I get that... believe me bello I understand but in Season 6 we've seen how her knowing Clark's secret interfered with her relationship with Jimmy and obviously as many pointed out her work... so could Chloe be trying to free herself from Clark's life considering Lana now knows the secret... obviously in this and last episode showed Chloe in only a information getter for Clark while he talks with lana about his issues... I mean this episode screams it... the first Chlark scene was him going to her to help find the crystal... no hey chloe nothing just Chloe you need to put this on hold and help me... obviously this was the first time they talked about her power saying they have been distant in offscreensville... so who is to say she doesn't want her memory wipe...
