I was disapointed. And what the hex was that all about Kara saying that Clark cannot trust MM, and MM said he could not trust her. Did they know each other? I had some feeling, what if that was Milton Fine shape shifted as John Jones?

He was probably aware of Curtis Knox's arrival in Smallville too.

Why couldn't they all just chill out, sit down and try some of Lana's blueberry pancake???

I came in and turned on the TV and saw Lex and Curtis Knox talking. After Kara flew away and it took a commercial break I had to go somewhere for a few minutes and missed a little it. Then I came back and saw Jimmy and Chloe breaking up.
It sucks though that Kara just ran away and she's not going to be in the next episode, but at least Lionel is.
Lana was making pancakes? I didn't see that. I just remember her being sneaky on the computer.
I love J'onn J'onzz.

Cool. I'll have 4 banana pancakes, please.
Yes, M&M was in the episode to fulfill the affirmative action quota.
Seriously, they don't have enough "color" on this show. I mean, no korean fruit stands, no soul food restaurants. Is Smallville in the mid west or the deep south?

You were disappointed yet you didn't even see the full episode? I think that should be a requirement before claiming any disappointment or love for anything, see the full thing first. ;)

Dr. Curtis Knox is clearly based on the super villan Vandal Savage.
In the animated Justice League series, Phil Morris (J'onn J'onzz) did the voice of the character. It's possible that his part in this episode might be a reference to his earlier part (now Dean Cain's part). But that might be a very small reason to have him appear. Perheps they (the writers) couldn't figure out what to do with Knox, so, they just had J'onn show up at the end and say that Knox was alive, but that it would be better if Clark didn't know what happened to him.
