I want the old perky Chloe back

Chloe is just so sad this season I really miss the happy go lucky, perky, quick witted Chloe.

Yes I know why she is so sad, but I hope they can cure her soon real soon.

Being a meteor freak, breaking up w/ Jimmy, losing Clark to Lana, losing her job to Lois soon or later, losing Jimmy to Kara soon.

I hate to say it but I can smell "suicide attempt" from Chloe anytime soon.

I strongly suggest you rewatch Season 1... she did have Clark or at least was about to... then Lana came into the picture

I think he means friendship wise...Wit lana around and knowin the secret what does clark need chloe for.That was sumthin before chloe could say she had over lana,now lana will be the confidant.

Thats why chloe could feel she's bein driven out of clark's life...Kara has powers and can help him wit missions and lana knows the secret so he can have talks wit her.

Chloe doesnt feel needed by clark now,so in a sense she's lost/losin her bestfriend and wants a fresh start.No stress of feelin lonely etc,even if we kno its not true she thinks so

I have a feeling Chloe might leave Smallville at the end of season 7, like how Pete did in season 2. Coz she's tired of everything that's happening in smallville.

Yup, they were on the verge of moving in becoming more then friends... Chloe even told Clark that her greatest fear for that time was him abandoning her at the dance to go off and confess his love for Lana... Clark kisses her cheek, as Lana walks by, and says to Chloe "I am going with you to the dance, not by default, because I want to" Also remember Clana talks near the end of season one was surrounded how Clark wanted to be more than friends with Chloe... in a sense Lana was a Chlark cheerleader then...

Then we saw what happens... Clark leaves Chloe at the dance to save Lana (of course, at the time, Chloe doesn't know that, all she knew is that ti's just Lana he left her for...)

Then that day CHloe pulled out a friendship card and by the end of the day/ the next episode we see Clark Lana lusting again... so how would Chloe feel? That Clark didn't really want her and so she lost him to Lana

WOW u actually remembered every minor detail from that episode! Yeah man, u really can't deny the fact that Clark has little little something for Chloe, even as of now in "Cure"

"U're not gonna remember meeeeeee" said by Clark, I dun buy the fact that Clark said it coz he misses her as a frd...indeed they have a relationship that's beyond frdship since they've shared so much 2gether throughout season 5 and 6.

And u know what! How would Chloe think if she found out Clark and Lois became a couple in the future!? That'll be harsh to see! Oh yeah!! We should have an episode of Chloe travelling through time going into the future seeing Clois and Clark's superman identity! That should be an amazing episode w/ boosted ratings. BUT on one condition, that episode has to be DIRECTED by meeeeee LOL.

She'll be back. Once she finally comes to terms with the whole Metor Freak issue. She just extremely frightened of what she may become.

I think Chloe truly believes that all metor infected people go crazy because that's all she's ever experienced.

I know she has a lot problems now but it wasn't so bad in season 3 when Lionel was trying to kill her etc.

Well, you can't really compare the two! This new development will have much greater effect on her life than witness protection program during season 3! I mean, how will she be able to control her power, will she wake up the next time that happens, will she pass it on to her children, will it intervene with her daily life, etc.. So many question, no answers and no one to help her through! It's completly normal that she is sad!
Not to mention Jimmy with the wandering eye, having to share the stage with Luis, not being the biggest part in Clark's life any longer...All of these things take time getting used to and accepting! Give a girl a break! Being sad and morose is the normal reaction, being perky under these circumstances would be denial!

I must be the only one who likes this side of chloe. We rarely see it, and I don't know, I guess I like that ole' supressing what you feel to the closest you love thing :\ And I still think she has wit, hence the line about wearing a bell around clarks neck. Its just the perky smiley thing we've lost, and we've seen lots of that over the seven years, a little frown isn't that bad. Plus, we all know that she will come back eventually, I'm just enjoying it while it lasts.

I don't understand why people want her to be the same way all the time. Everyone goes through tough patches in their lives; I'm going through one right now and I'm not all "happy and perky" like I used to be. Of course it pails in comparison to hiding the fact that my best friend is an alien while trying to cover up that I'm a meteor freak while avoiding being sacked from one of the most prestigious newspapers in the world while going through a tough break up, but still...

Chloe's still Chloe, guys :p. She'll get through this.

I agree. I miss the happy perky Chloe too. She is still great, but it seems like she has been depressed ever since Clark has been with Lana. If she can get Clark back, I think she will be back to her happy self again.
