The lyrics were very clear while she was looking at him kind of misty eyed : "I don't know who I am without you..."


what is up with that? Will Lexana live again?

You can't read too much into the lyrics that are playing in the background. There have been lots of times when the lyrics haven’t matched up with the plot.

I liked early lexana, I thought it was sexy. But there is no way they could bring that back now.

I haven't watched the episode, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lana is considering Lex as the next backup boyfriend. I'm sorry, but she always has one.

I like the "there is no way" part lol because I really thought there was no way they could put the future superman back with someone who had screwed his former best friend, gotten married to him and then came crawling back to make blueberry pancakes for Clark before the ink on her divorce papers was even on the paper....

yeah unfortunately... the writers seem to make most of the characters check their dignity at the door of the set.

Not talking about Lexana per say though, I happen to think Lexana is one of the most interesting relationships we've seen on Smallville in a while.

You know, I don't think it's gonna be like "happy Lexana" (like the one in early season 6). It's gonna be more about Lana acting like a Luthor and Lex noticing this. This will create tension between them.

I definitely agree with the "happy Lexana" part. When do we ever have a relationship on Smallville that isn't all angsty for more than a few eps? Too much water under the bridge already. If Lana wants happily ever after shes going to have to move far far away from Smallville, find Pete, and become a baby making machine.

I loved Evil Lana because she knew what she wanted and she did what it took to get it. No whining. No excuses. No damsel in distress. If she could have embraced her evilness, she and Lex could have been a great pair. It is this back and forth Lana that irritates me. I haven’t seen Cure yet but if it is anything like the last episode Almiles was making Lana out to be this angel.

I they are going to have clana (and I'm glad they are giving them another shot) can't Lana have all those determined qualities of "evil Lana” and just apply them to a new, honest, mature relationship with Clark. Maybe Clark isn't man enough to handle "evil Lana" - but Lex is.

If they want to re-do Lexana - they have to do it all the way. No more of this wishy-washy stuff.

I totally agree with you though. My favorite part of evil Lana was the no damsel in distress part and I also hate the wishy washyness.

You're in for some disappointments in this ep though. The Clana is anything but honest and mature on Lana's part. She is up to something, I'm just not sure what, but I'm really not convinced she's giving it an honest try with Clark. She's lying to him and she's got to know when he finds out it will be over....

That is so frustrating to hear. Sometimes it seems tptbs think the only possible plots can be angst among the relationships. But this is superman right? Aren’t there a lot of plot arcs they could pursue while letting the characters settle into somewhat stable relationships? No wonder the divorce rate in the US is so high - our "role model" relationships only last a few epis.

I thought I read in the spoilers that clana was going to be for awhile though. I hope they work it out - or break up for good.

I like Lexana, but I am realistic and believe it isn't making a comeback... at least not in a Clana infested world that smallville inhabits. I still enjoy scenes they are together in though.

I say, we deffenitley have a chance for another Lexana. Maybe not right now in the early episodes, but Lana is clearley obsessed with Lex, and there is a very thin line between love and hate. I think those two have deffenitive sexual chemistry. My top two Smallville kisses were both Lexana, and I'm a Clois fan.

I think if Lexana comes back, it will be a sexy, dirty, deranged kind of relationship. And that is far more interesting than the Clana pancake sessions.

I think Lexana is gone for good. I will agree that when the scene began at the computer and Lana was watching Lex it almost appeared as if she was just watching him just to see him, but then you notice she zooms in on whatever he had on his computer screen. She is spying on him. She has made it very clear that she dislikes him, so I don't think she'll be going back.

Evil Lana is at least Lana with a believable personality. I don't want pure hatred between her and any of the characters, but having a bad side blended in with the perfect Lana is more realistic.

We did see more of an Evil Lana in "Cure." When I saw Lana (with her hair up - evil Lana always has to have her hair up - that is how we know it is evil Lana and not angel Lana) go to that room and crank up those spy cameras I thought - "yes, there's my girl!"

Yes but what if she's starting to doubt that it was actually Lex who put the hormones in her? As for the slap across the face sadly MANY women go back with people who have done much more than slap them in the face.... Yeah she went half way around the world but she also came back.... and we know she isn't back for Clark because if she was really back just for Clark, she wouldn't be lying to Clark's face, she'd be giving it a real go. She of all people knows that lies will kill any chance a relationship has faster than anything else will.

Destiny Aw8s THIS would be SO awesome! I wish by some miracle this would actually happen with them. It would be really cool for both characters. I've always thought it would be interesting if the Lexana arc could be used in a complex way to be the thing to push Lex over the edge.
