So is it just me or are these model girls like the freak of the week?

I was thinking the same thing. With the show winding down they should focus more on the bigger story instead of wasting time with freak of the week episodes.

There's no way a pagent should overshadow Clark finding out Lana is still alive.

The only reason they're even here is because Kara's the new girl in town. She needed some female enemies...FOTW just isn't cutting it these days since the show went darker before she came to town...

^^^ I understand why they'd bring some back for Kara, but it just undermines the darkness of last season...

I'm sure its just temporary. Its like those filler episodes. You can't expect a bang in every show.

seems like it. They need to fill up the time until Lex starts to obsess over something bad again. I believe deja vu with the space ship obseesion is on the horizon...but for now Lex is trying to be all noble so until he goes back to bad lex...its "freak of the week"...which I have to say I like, it is like the old days again

when an episode doesnt have a clear cut enemy or evil to fight, they throw in a FOTW

I notice something. That was the frist time I saw a black girl as a metero freak. The only other black freaks they had where Earl and Dr. Hammilton

I wouldn't mind seeing some new freaks with new abilities. I don't like than 98% of the meteor freaks are considered crazy though.
