When Alejandro is taken to the jail cell he says "No English", which means he knew no english. But later the guy that was talking to him said "Take me with you!I have a Car" how did he know what that meant?

he just didnt want to talk to him. hes been speaking english the whole time.

Have you spent much time around hispanic folks? A great many of them often pretend to speak 'no english' so as to avoid unnecessary conversation and also to listen in on what we have to say. He was pretending to not understand.

If I knew two languages and someone said "You look like ass" I wouldn't much care to talk with them either. lol. Easy way out? Pretend you have no idea what they are saying.

i guess the way the guy was like "let me out too" was probably using body language.. you know like pointing at the lock and moving around like an idiot.. that would let me know he wants to leave

They know how to speak english...thats just..it. No further discussion really..they have been speaking in english and like Merfish said, he knew what the guy was saying when he said "let me out, I have a car!" ^_^
