Taking Back Sunday vs. Brand New vs. Straylight Run

Which band do you guys like the most? I used to say TBS when Nolan was still in the band and brand new was making pop music, but since SR formed and BN has been playing deeper music id probably say BN slightly edges out SR as my favorite, with TBS third

Never heard of Straylight Sun, but I'd say BN (the first two CDs, not the new one) beat TBS.

ETA: I change my mind. BN's two newest CD's are better.

I'd have to say Brand New. I love them

Aside from Pink Floyd and Radiohead, Brand New's my favorite band out there. Every CD they change so much, you could even argue that they're three different bands. Deja Entendu was brilliant... one of the most underrated albums of our time.
Straylight Run is decent, I like a few songs here and there, and Michelle Nolan is great, obviously ;) I didn't like the new CD as much as the old one... lyrics were a whole lot worse on the new one.
Taking Back Sunday... i don't know... i somewhat can't stand them anymore. I just really dislike Adam. Now that Fred left, I have no doubt that they are finished, because Adam can't write anything but cliche one-liner lyrics. I obviously like the first CD that Nolan wrote, but that was years ago, and the new TBS is crap.

i agree....i really like the newest brand new cd (blasphemy right?)...

i think tbs is going downhill now that fred's gone...adam's never been the greatest writer

I love Straylight Run. I discovered them before I discovered Taking Back Sunday, but like "Makedamnsure" by TBS. I have no clue who Brand New is.

Existentialism on Prom Night is one of the best songs ever.

Brand New definitely followed by straylight run. I just can't get into TBS anymore, Louder Now was a huge disappointment for me.
