actually i did mine in adobe premiere too
only learning too, so still lots to learn
like
how did you do your vids to a specific size
eg @ 640 x 246
i try wmv file @ 640 x 325
but they with black around the vid sized @ 720 x 576 (or 480)
so i had to zoom in on all the clips in the vid
to rid of the black on the top, bottom, left and right
mananged to get height down
just not height and width together
must be something i'm missing
anyway
thanks for the feedback
really glad you liked it
thanks

I figured you were using premiere by some of the effects you used...Very nice...
I changed the video size by cropping the vid in Virtual Dub and changing the comp settings in premiere to the size of the cropped vid...
I wouldnt have tried changing size if I hadnt cropped in vdub...Due to my lack of Premiere knowledge...

thanks for the info
i'll have to have another look
and use custom setting to start a new project
instead of at the end of it
anyway
there was Virtually No Special Effects in this vid
most is just cut and paste (it's the show that's good)
only
1 overlay, 2 zooms, 1 B&W and 1 flipped clip
and slowing or speeding up clips
and i think that was all the effects i did
that one was my first vid in Premiere Pro
i was and am think of putting in white flashes
but Premiere doesn't appear to have them
so i'm looking at how else to make them
i tried chaning the brightness
but it didn't go to full white screen
just a half transparent white screen - that wasn't good enough for the flash effect
thanks again for your help

Yeah ,you have to change the original settings of the project. I dont think you can use the dv setting and change the size....
I thought you did the glow effects in there...I guess it must have been the show...
Ypu can do a white flash effect by making a white matte and then and then overlaying it on top of the split vid,,,and then change opacity to go to the white flash....

yeah
it was more the editing than my effects

Hey Chokito thanks for sending me the links to your Jekyll vid.
Awesome job on this one. I've never seen the show but your vid was really well put together and made the show look very interesting.
Awesome job on the beginning of the vid. The opening with the titles was very cool and the white flash at 9 went really well with the music. The first verse from 25-56 was really well done and matched the song lyrics very effectively. The line “so many times I’ve tried, still caged inside was especially well matched up with the scenes there. Cool overlay at 46. I really liked what you did with the scenes of the eye from 42-51. The part with the lion at 1:12 went great with the "this animal" lyrics
Very cool stuff on the section from 134-139 with the quick sequence of senes which looked like a flashback. Awesome job putting all those scenes together so well. The trainsition at 147 and 156 was also really well done. Very cool editing at 232 to drumbeats there, that was very effective. I also really liked the editing from 305-318 with the scenes of them shooting hyde. Finally, the ending with from 323-333 was very awesome the way you did it with the intercutting of the eye scene with all those other scenes.
Very awesome vid Chokito!

thanks for your feedback Keith
glad you like it
Unfortunately the vid does show how funny the show is
it's terrific
it currently on BBCAmerica
the opening title is just the shows tirle screen
glad you liked the transitions @ 147 and 156
but i now realize the second half of the transition should have been different
(which i've put into "45")
glad you like the ending
alway an important part
thanks again for your feedback glad you enjoyed
