Can anyone tell me wht was the point of all tht? What did we or Peter gain out of going back in time or back in dream or something and talking to him? It just seemed like it was just one more step towards giving Peter strength and reassurance tht he is destined to save the world...but I think he got over tht when he saved Claire. I just dont understand how he went back to tht exact moment...whts the significance and the guy is dead...so he is more powerful than death? He can visit ppl after he died? Wht was tht?

My guess is that Simone's daddy has the power to speak to people through the grave...probably through dreams. Doesnt seem too far of a stretch...the ability to speak to someone posthumously would most likely be through some kind of dream state.

Peter was able to learn the truth. He deserved to seeing as how it was his own family plotting against him (in a way). And to learn that his own brother couldnt go through with those plans made him feel much better before they jetted it off to space to blow up.

Seeing as how I wasnt too fond of the finale....that was actually one of the better scenes in the epi. I was happy that someone they had in the beginning of the season could serve some sort of purpose later on. Hooray for continuity.

I think it was more than just talking to him through a dream. It did help him see the truth about Cruella, which I think will help next season alot!

I definitely thought that was one of the better scenes in the finale. That richard roundtree...hes a bad mofo.

His power, if he has one, seems a lot like the power of that Sanjog Iyer kid. He can enter people's dreams and even interct with him. They'd have the same power if it wasn't that Charles is dead.

My theory is that it was to show him how diabolical his mother really is.

Also Charles Deveaux is probly where peter got his dreaming powers from. That is also probly how he was able to talk to him.

I think its more astral projection than dreaming, which are related in a way I guess. Peter is able to transcend space and time without his body. I believe he picked up this power from Deveaux.

I agree with you, this one seemed to be out of a dream. It seemed as if Peter went to him in an actual life event. It was however almost exactly like Mohinders experience except Mohinder could only interact with the kid, where it looks like Peter could step beyond that.

See I really cant see it being the same experience because in Mohinder's case he was in a dream where he was just an observer. While in Peter's case he was able to interact with Deveaux who actually part of the " dream sequence" while the Indian boy was not, just a guide.
