Im sure all noticed the Cockroach at the end of the finale. Do you think that it could symbolize something? They do say that a cockroach could survive a nuclear war. Maybe that means that Shylar could survive and not be killed.

The Sewer manhole shot shows blood on the handrail rungs, so we know Sylar survived.

The roach may have been there to remind us about when Sylar was being held at Primeatech they declared him dead, there was the roach there also.

I said the exact same thing on another thread, earth-2 kal el. And I cited the Primatech cell when everybody thought Sylar was dead.

Echoing everyone else, I think it was there to symbolize he's still alive. A "dum dum dummmmmm" moment, if you will.

The bloody handprints going down the manhole shows he did.

I think it just goes to show that NYC is a dirty city.

it just means that its hard for him to get killed, cause roaches can live through a lot of things, or maybe hes the roach guy from MiB and he has the power to control roaches :rotfl:

The blood staining also implies he moved the manhole cover manually....no powers kiddies. Where if ever in any comic or graphic novel does the Super Villain die?
