I don't think Parkman's dead though - he's still got a lot more to give and is an important character for Molly.

I just don't want it to be - first episode. Parkman's in the hospital - Sylar shows up and takes his brain and then is on his merry way.....I want Parkman to be in the next season quite a bit. He's a good character....even when he's arguing with someone. lol

LOL ambulance......the box with wheels and lights. That hopefully Sylar is too weak to stop and take another one.

And you're right - Matt didn't seem to be dead - he's a tough one. I'm sure that he'll bounce back. :D

I don't think he's dead, but I'd sure like to see what story they come up with to explain how he lived. He looked to be bleeding so I don't think they can use the bullet proof vest gimmick.

I first thought I saw the bullet hole turn black when he got struck! So maybe he did, but he didnt actually get shot either, the bullets were projected with TK, so there is no telling if the vest would work or only half work! Or it could've just been an error with the FX. But I think they will bring him in some kind've incompasitated way, were he can learn and control his power in such a more needed way!

Everybody is saying that Matt lives, but no one is saying any reasons for it! THere are 2 pieces of evidence why he might be alive- he could have been wearing a bullet proof vest, which is moderately likely, and they cover up your head if you're dead. However, he got 5 bullets in the chest, there was blood, and the bullets were thrown back hard, so I think he is dead. Although, the actor is liked, he likes the show, people like him, Molly wants him to live, and you never know what the hell is going to happen on this show, so it's anyone's guess

One of my biggest questions is, who is the bad guy worse than Sylar?

The lack of a blanket over his head means nothing, to be honest. Just cause he wasnt dead when they loaded him into the ambulance doesnt mean he will live till next season. He was bleeding alot, you could see the blood soaking him shirt at one point, so no vest either. Im not saying I want him dead Im just saying chances are he could be. I know DL will survive cause if you read the most recent graphic novel on NBC it sounds like he's stabilized...

You know what? If the writers are stupid enough to kill a person over the summer then they are stupid. He was alive when the ep ended, then he'll be alive when the season continues. If they want to kill him off on the first ep, then that would be OK. Bottom line is he was taken into an ambulance, those are used for the living by the way. Also Molly went up to him and told him basically to hang in there. I am still trying to figure out why its a topic of discussion. Sounds like an open-closed issue to me.

Oh and if this post sounds agry, its not, I am extremely tired and do respect everyone thoughts, even if you are wrong!:lol:

Actually he wasn't shot it was Sylar's TK that put the bullets in him. I think this makes a big difference because it may no have been strong as a gun, which is why he probably survived.

We'll see next season, although I highly doubt he's dead now. He just got injured, since the bullets hit him by telekinesis and not by a gun.

Sylar's Tk is extremely powerful. Infact it might be stronger than a bullet. He tossed those trucks carrying Ted without breaking a sweat. His Tk must be just as strong or stronger than a bullet.

Anyway it all depends on the writers. Lana has survived worse.:lol:

But a bullet does do damage when the bullet hits head from the gun. The bullets travelled backwards into Matt. Maybe that will help!

It realy looks like to me that he will be back. Nathan's been confirmed, DL's plotlines (if he ever realy had any) have been rapped up, and a new actress is coming in to play Micah's foster mother. Matt still has a huge plotline left open concerning his kid, that was even mentioned in FYG, and everybody on the commentaries, when they're not talking about Hayden's amazing acting or the fact that Heroes "looks like a feature", always mention how fun Greg Grunberg is on the set.

He'll be back.
