How the hell did the police know where he was? Also how the hell did they already conclude thru evidence that Lex is guilty? I mean like in the show only half an hour passed maybe an hour at most. They already went thru all the evdence and ran tests and such and concluded Lex is the guilty party?

My guess is that Lana faked her death. That mail truck going by as she went in was too suspicious

Lex just can't be arrested yet because that would mean he's fully evil now. Wait till the premiere, looks like it will be a misunderstanding. Or he might just try to escape.

Theres cause for an arrest? What cause? I doubt in that little time the police have arrived on scene of the accident went thru the evidence, determined if it was Lana Langs actual body in the car, talked to witnesses, hell they havent even questioned Lex, the just show up with with guns aimed

Ten bucks says that next season, Lex will be on his way to jail and then we'll find out that Lana is still alive. Then Lex will still be accused of trying to kill her, he'll manage to get off on that crime and then...here's the kicker, Lex can't touch Lana after that after already being a suspect in murdering Lana once. If she were to die for real, and he was the cause, the police would be all over him.

1) Wife of rich husband dies. Sorry, but the husband is nearly always taken in, at least for questioning.
2) Smallville police have dealt with enough Luthor antics to know a Luthor crime when they see one. Give em a little credit, they're not so dumb.

lionel probably phoned the police and told them where lex was and told them he killed lana so that they would arrest him before clark did anything stupid

That's a really good theory.

For me, Lex's arrest is the strongest evidence that Lana's death is faked. If she is really dead, how will Lex not get convicted.

Exactly. I believe that Lana's plan is to make it look like Lex tried to murder her that way Lex wouldn't be stupid enough to come after her. He'll give her the divorce and will have to live with losing Lana and not being able to retaliate. That's when all hell will break loose for Lex.

I'm thinking his dad called the police because he thought that would be better than getting killed by Clark. He then went to the site prepared to stop Clark, but it backfired because it was just what Bizarro needed! :lol:
