Ok IF u know what Lex is capable of why would u confront him face to face.....I would send the divorce papers via messenger and get my a$$ far far away form Smallville   ...otherwise you are giving him an advantage..he doesn't seem like a man that gives up easily...

I think it was a stupid move. She should have just left. She knows what it is that Lex can do, so why waste time trying to tell him you're leaving.

I probably would have done the same thing, honestly. :\ But I'd go to Clark straight after, and I would have Lex a few times if he hit me like he hit Lana.

Thats kinda like the most used cliche ive ever seen. its been used so much in tv and movies. Instead of the person just leaving the person or group they hate, they always have to confront them and say something like " I'm leaving and im gonna tell the police all the evil stuff you did" or "I'm leaving you and your sex was bad" Instead of just leaving and doing what you want to do.

That's Lana for you. She insists on talking about EVERYTHING.

I think that she's being a straight-up person. She's letting Lex know that it's over. It's a quick, hard cut but clean.

Is it better to rip off the Band-Aid all at once or sit there and scrape it off bit by bit? Which hurts more?

Maybe Lana had to say to Clark that he wait near them to help her if Lex would do anything.
I think that is what I had done.
But maybe Lana was not sure what will happen.
But what I think is that Lana needed this moment with Lex.
To let him know what he found s out about him and the fact that she never was pregnant! And I can understand her!

Lana wanted to confront Lex with the hormone manipuilation. Wouldn't you want to get a dig in a person who made you throw up for weeks and eat ketchup on strawberry ice cream...for what?!

I think it was part of her "faked death" plan. To make it more believable that Lex is the one who killed her.

Remember...there are surveillance tapes of Lex smacking Lana around. Maybe Lana pushed Lex to the point where she knew he would snap. heheh

I personelly think she did all of this to frame Lex.

Making Lex snap is not a good idea look what happened to her Doctor.

I was thinking the same thing why is she telling him this?

Oh right no talk means no drama no explosion

I think that was a bad move on her part because she knows what Lex is capable of and telling him that was one of the worst things she could of ever done. Because now Lex will go completly in rage and really start being evil. Although he already is, but with Lana leaving him; it may make him completly ruthless. If she wanted to leave him, she should of just left instead of telling him that she plans of leaving.

It might not have been a good move, but it would have been boring for her to just leave. x_x

That makes sense. I mean, we know Lana's made some stupid decisions in the past, but I have trouble believing that she would tell Lex she was leaving unless there was something else behind it.

That was the first time ever she actually personally told her boyfriend/husband that she leaves him. Well, I can certainly see a progress.

Or it was a Lana clone (Clona).

I like the idea that she did it for the purpose of the security tapes as evidence of his violent nature. I think confronting him was the right thing to do, even if it made the situation worse for her for the moment. I believe she wanted him to know what she knew about his manipulation.
