Manhunter Returns....

I was watching insurgance last night from season two.

Lionel had that file on clark yet when Lex asks Clark how he managed to get into Luthorcorp when it was rigged, Lionel replies something along the lines of "It doesn't matter how Clark got in there Lex, we should be thankful for his determinism." Not the exact words but anyway, my point is I think Martian Manhunter has been lurking around in the background ever since then? Everything he has done leading up to this point has been to help out Clark and prevent him from getting too involved with Lex. Have we ever seen Lionel question clarks "hero-complex" and the way he always turns up int he most unlikely of circumstances like all the other characters have?

We've seen this season what lengths Lionel has gone to so he can help Clark out after all...

I was watching CW last night (South Park reruns) and saw the preview again, it looked like an extended version,
I am glad they brought MM back:)

good point. it seems like all those years when lionel acted as if he wanted to know about clark for his own selfish reasons perhaps he was just trying to help clark. but still doesnt explain how he was still a jerk about other things like when he was in clarks body in transference or why he wanted the key to get into the wall. also wondering when manhunter and lionel could have started communicating. manhunter is apparently to have been around as clark was growing up. im thinking manhunter had a connection with dr swann and they needed to wait for the right time to contact clark and perhaps lionel got involved when he started dealing with dr swann. perhaps that was that talk they had that is one of those big plotholes.


im hoping manhunter does a lot in this episode and maybe get to see some shapeshifting skills or pehaps his true form.

I think MM has only came across Lionel recently. I highly doubt he'd let something like the Zod fiasco or the second meteor shower happen if he really has been in the background all this while.

I am ssssooooo happy they brought him back. He only was there for a few minutes and left us with lots of questions I m hoping they'll all get answered.

ya im really hoping at some point we get some of the backstory of manhunter and what his connections are. maybe he had strict orders not to interfer with clark and to only observe from afar but once he screwed up and let the zoners out i think manhunter took it into his own hand to protect him more and knowing jor el couldnt help maybe he figured he was the only option.

im glad manhunter was back he did a good job. i just wish there was more with him. cool that he was with clark his whole life and clark never knew and how he only interferred with clarks life once things werent going as planned and clark had no help from jor el any longer.

I have a feeling that J'onn will be back for more appearances in Season 7. Hopefully they'll be longer ones then his three in Season 6 as they leave much to be desired. I wanna see him in some real action and joining The Justice League as well.
