hmmm i think cause he knows DL can appeal to the good side of jessica/nikki. he also knows he cant control DL but he knows what jessica/nikki wants.

I believe Linderman asking Jessica/Nikki to kill DL was a test, ust like the bribe.
$20 million for one kill is WAY much more than he paid for the others.

The money was to kill DL and to "walk away" IE - leave Nikki's son with Linderman.
