Clark should get a real job... Maybe that will keep his mind off Lana and help him mature... Am sick of the obsession and also the fact that all he does is run around trying to end Lex's marriage to Lana. I think I might just go nuclear after the next Clana moment.... *vomits*

He's still in school, works on farm and sometimes saves the world. I don't think he has much time left to get a job.

they should have one scene a week, where there is a natural disaster someplace and clark is superspeeding fixing it up.

That's an idea. btw Clark/Superman is all about saving the world and stuff but this guy practically just saves those close to him... Lana, Lois, Lex, Chloe, MK........

Clark could get a job and still have Lana in his life. He's not that dumb.

He needs to grow up and stop obsessing over a married woman. These Clana crappy moments amount to adultery and it is not attractive in a supposed superhero. Not to metnion the fact that Lana asked to be in her current position. She ranted at Clark and said hateful things to him every chance she got while she claimed she wanted to be with Lex so tough, Lana. I have no sympathy. She gets what she deserves. And has Clark already forgotten lana was going to let Lex die? Lana is not a nice person and she doesn't deserve all this coddling and worry. She made her bed and now she has to sleep in it.

Clark Kent is still in the developmental stages of becoming Superman. He's not superman yet, so I don't expect him to be saving people other than the people that he is close to.

He's running the farm and that's more than a full time job: he quit school because even he couldn't do this AND school AND superhero-ing. Yes he can do most chores in superspeed mode (though I don't know how cows would react to superspeed milking et al). But look at it from the neighbours point of view: if he took up another job while keeping the farm going he might as well kiss any hope of a secret identity alive.

I was expecting for him to say that he was going back to college :(

I was too. And what happened to Lana when did she stop going to college? Wasn’t Lois working for Martha? And if she is when does she have the time when she is leaving the country for a chupacabra story and then making Chloe a special cappuccino. I Chloe still going to college or did we lose four years somewhere in this series.
The only one who has been confirmed that she's still in school is Chloe. And that's only through an interview of Allison Mack's. It's not actually SV-onscreen canon. If AM hadn't mentioned it in some interview, I wouldn't think Chloe was. (And AM, herself, admitted she was confused about this and thought that none of the kids were in school.)
So, for all intents and purposes, Lana is not in school. Neither is Clark (because he quit after his dad died) and neither is Lois.
Lois, I believe, is no longer Martha's CoS... even though we have no on-screen canon to support this for sure. Clark is, however, running the farm full-time. Because there have been plenty of references to it during the season.

I can understand how Clark may look pathetic at times. However, if my girl was forced into a marriage with my worst enemy against her will, best believe I'd be a TAD bit pissed off as well.

I would love to see Clark try to hold down a job. With Martha leaving for Washington- woo!- I think that Clark's job will be ensuring that the livestock are still around when Martha comes back home.

Thankyou.
I agree completely- Lana said horrible things to him. Married another man. Pretended to or thought she was carrying his baby. Point blank, I'd drop that double dealing girl.
She kissed another man on her wedding day! Granted, its Clark- but still. Shes' unfaithful as they come. Let the Luthor security worry about her- if she finally dies, good riddance. I fast forward through Pretty Pink Princess' scenes.

She's not his girl... He let her go. He's just a loser chasing around a married woman...

I totally agree. I was about to throw something at the screen when Clark and Lana were about to kiss. *hurls just thinking about it*

Lol @ Lana being a bad person for wanting Lex to die. I can't believe people hate Lana that much they actually think shes WORSE than the guy that basically forced her into marriage by giving her hormones. Seriously. It's no wonder she was so confused.
If I married someone and then found out that they had been f***ing with me from the start I wouldn't give a damm about my vows either. Mind you, since they got married, Lana hasn't kissed Clark again (even though she wants to).
And as for Clark needing a job. He runs a freaking farm! Get off his back.

A married woman that apparently does not want to be in the marriage in the first place.
Oh and Lionel forced her to have sex with Lex and insult Clark each time he's in her voice range? I must've missed that episode.
Most farms have more than one person running them, so considering the fact Clark runs it completely on his own I'd say he's got at least 5 full-time jobs. I would rather he'd start looking more seriously into journalism, but it can't be denied he does earn his living.
I did hope he'd go back to college and study journalism, I think that Superman had a degree in journalism but maybe I'm wrong.
About Lana, you should remember that Lionel told her that Clark's life depends on her staying with Lex. People seem confused about why, but I immediately thought (and I'm sure I'm right) that Lionel knows that Clark would keep a close watch over Lana, and therefore over Lex and whatever he might be doing.
