It does seem like they're writing her off, and writing off Jimmy. I don't know who's going to replace Martha Kent as a character? This series is just moving further and further away from Smallville.

She really wasn't on the show this season as shes been in the past, which is sad, i wish they showed alot of her in case of a departure
