What's great about the kiss was that even though they had to snog like they did in the 1940's, Clark still managed to give Lana a hard, passionate kiss. :D

If you have ever watched NOIR type movies..the detectives usually show little emotion....but claim love as NOIR Clark did with Lana...it was the style and not meant for anything else but to pay tribute to the NOIR style of that era.

EDIT: The kiss was hot..but for some reason when Clark walked out of the bathroom of the LUTHOR mansion to zip Lana's dress..that was hotter..:eek:

Chloe's not holding Clark back from his destiny; she's the one who's helping him get there. Without her, Clark and Pete would probably still be trying to figure out the scarecrow culprit from the Pilot. She's helping him grow and become Superman.

Chloe holds him back by not allowing Clark to think for himself. He can't even research a case by himself without turning to Chloe. Chloe is Clark's very own google search engine.

That dream was made up by MM and it had nothing to do with how Clark perceives Lana in real time.

I think Clark could be Superman quite fine witout Chloe.
In Labytint Clark realised he couldn't be with Lana? In 6 years he relised it so many times and also Lana and still they will always get back to each other. I hope that this time it will be for more than 2 episode.

Another great thing about the kiss is how "heavy lidded" Clark's eyes were the whole time he was looking at Lana. He looked ready to devour her. :p

And that's your opinion. Some of us are sick of the roller coaster. The thing that bothers me is that people who want Clana always complain that they haven't had enough Clana. Sure. they only had a real relationship for a couple episodes, but at least you guys had something. This entire show has been based on Clana, however twisted their relationship has been. Chlarkers and Cloisers only get teased. I could even understand Lana being Clark's high school sweetheart, as she is in the mythos, but their feelings should have ended by now. This 'ship has been so overdone.

Those were just two examples off the top of my head.

Their good together because of their amazing chemistry. They can turn hand holding into something very erotic and sexy for example last week's "Nemesis".

They have undeniable chemistry but I felt like her hair was blocking the kiss in the beginning. WHY do they always block themselves from kissing? If it's not the hair, its her shoulder. SOMETHING.

Don't know if anyone's notice but they look like everytime they kiss they are on their tippy toes. Like if they are stepping over boundaries. Their kisses in Season 2 and 3 showed much more passion. THis Season it seems like they are holding back because they are afraid. Anyone notice that?
