Chloe keeping quite

I know Chloe is good at keeping secrets but this is a life and death situation with Lana. Why is she choosing not to tell Clark? I know she was hinting around but come on this cannot be in the same category as not telling Lana Clark secret or not telling Clark that Lana was pregnant. For goodness sake Lana was almost killed!

Chloe is trying to honor her promise to Lana just like she's keeping Clark's secret to herself.

But she did enough hinting in "Noir" for Clark to understand that Lana is doing something to protect him and that Lionel is involved.

i voted for her telling him, but only because she knows a lot about both situations, and should know enough to know that clark is still able to help her, and that lana's in over her head...but i think this is such a grey area, that you can't fault chloe regardless of how she handles it...

I think Chloe should keep quiet, or give Clark hints.
If it's something so important that Lana will marry a man she doesn't want to marry, in order to protect Clark .. it's pretty serious.
I think if it was something Clark could fix, Lana would tell him in a second. She honestly believes Clark not knowing is best.

I think Chloe hinting Clark so he can tie the knots himself is the way to go since she will keep her promise to Lana and at the same time he would be aware that Lionel might be thread to him a be careful and knowning Chloe she surely is finding info the help them both.

but one thing about secrets on this show is that if keeping a secret could hurt some one, almost every character has said that the person is more important than a secret. shouldn't chloe know that by now? and since when has lana been able to handle lionel? chloe knows about the grips he can hold on people and lana got shot over it! chloe's just being stupid.

I don't get it. If someone wants to kill you, isn't it universally better to know about it? Wouldn't it be better if he were on his guard? He's not a stupid child who's going to touch a hot pan if you tell them it's hot.

And anyway, I don't see how Lana is going to "save" him. She can't hardly ever save herself (at least not lately). I miss the roundhouse-kicking Lana. Where'd she go?

Secondly, why in the world would Chloe trust Lana with Clark's life? We're talking about the girl who trusted Lex Luthor.

I think the show is reaching. It's not good.

Chloe should keep it to herself. Lana has asked her not to tell Clark. After all Chloe didn't tell Lana Clarks secret when he was stuck down those tunnels.

I think that the hints Chloe gave Clark at the end of the episode were enough. She had to say something to explain why she was dropping trying to find Lana's shooter, otherwise Clark would be his big dumb self and not understand that there's obviously more happening than he knows about.

Everyone is so busy protecting Clark, they're taking their focus off of the 'main' person, which is either Lex or Lional, probably both.

If they would just tell him, they, as a trio, could pool their intel (Ok, Lana's a vegetable and Chloe is the smartest and Chloe is just the muscle) and be thrice as effective against the duo.

To be honest, I just wish that Chloe would just take a breather from Clark and Lana for awhile. . .I mean, sure, have Chloe be concerned about them, but it always seems like Clark and Lana are always looking out for each other and never looking out for Chloe. . .Sure, Clark has shown some concern over Chloe's well-being this past season, but he seems to quickly forget about Chloe, when something bad happens to Lana, which seems to happen a lot. . .I'm just tired of poor Chloe always being abused and used by BOTH of them:\. . .My personal opinion is that Chloe should just keep quiet and let CLANA deal with their problem:)

Honestly...this is just a TV show...but whatever it is that would make Lana marry Lex for...and would have Chloe keeping a secret from Clark concerning his well-being...must be something better hugh. Life and death situation for Clark...this could get very interesting...and could be life threatening for both Lana and Chloe.

I think that Chloe should tell clark because first of all clark can take care of himself. And how in the hell is lana going to protect him if something bad happens, hell she cant even take care of herself. And now lana is trapped in between to luthors. Chloe could lock Lana in a room and let Clark "save" her while overhearing the "secret". It's a two-fer. Clark learns why Lana is married and for Chloe fans, Chloe gets revenge for being locked in a cooler. I still find the outrage over that very trite since Chloe was in absolutely NO danger with Lana right outside the door.

I think both Lana and Clark have yet again but Chloe in an akward position. She is always trying to be a loyal friend to both of them and yet both yell at her to tell them the others secret.
It's not fair on Chloe. Sure Chloe probaly should keep the others secret completely but they both keep on twisting her arm pratically forcing her to at least give hints about the other.

And as far as it being dangerouse. I do think like Clark, Chloe's biggest strength is her biggest weakness and that is her unwavering loyalty.

I Totally agree with you guys ......except for the Jimmy part ;) :lol:
I mean I think Chloe needs a break from all that is going on and start worrying about her own life.....I am not saying she is an intruder or something like .......no no and no !! what I mean is that all she does involves Clark, Lana and Lex ..........THe burden of carrying Clark´s secret is already HEAVY enough .....I don´t want HER to disappear neither .....she deserves some time for herself .......for her talent as reporter .......and let Clark go ......for a while .... :( :rolleyes:

They take advantage of her loyalty. I hope she does of course not that drastic but sometimes it feels like she going to have to end up sacraficing her own happiness (her career, er boyfriend) for her friends.

I did not want that to happen, I mean sacrifice her own life to help her friends...... Clark will go to the FOS training .... I mean everybody will move on with their lives sometime .......and she needs to be ready ......so she won´t look behind and regrets for not doing things she could have done .......

I'm glad Chloe is trying to respect all her friends (Clark AND Lana, Jimmy, Lois, etc). There are times when I think she props Clark up to the detriment of her other relationships so I guess I'm ok with her just hinting around so Clark gets her important message w/o casually betraying Lana's desperate secret mission. As of S6, Lana is still Chloe's best friend (girl).

I think Chloe just want to protect Clark! She still loves Clark and Lana's words shocked Chloe and felt her with scare because of Clark. Lana told Chloe that she maried Lex to protect Clark! And that Chloe must trust her! I als think that Clark deserve to know all about it! It is very complicated!!!! I mean what would you do iof you know Clark's life is in danger because of his weakness? Wouldn't you also be afraid of Clark's life? But we all know that Clark will find out what Lionel had done to Lana - in the finale of Phantom!
