Now calm down, Peter is still lightyears more heroic but.....
Peter never told anyone that he not Sylar was the one that caused the explosion. Isn't that a vital piece of information?! Especially for someone like Hiro for gods sake?! And tell him who the guy he got those from was!! Then our present Hiro can stop focusing on Sylar and focus on the dude that Peter got the "nuclear explosion" powers from! It won't stop Sylar long term but at least that horrible future shouldn't be so damn bleak.
I dub Peter with the honorary BDA award of the ep.

If Peter is the bomb, than how does killing Sylar stop him from exploding?

Exactly. Killing Sylar won't stop the explosion. Hiro has the wrong information.
Oh well. At least with Sylar gone, he can't assume Nathan's form and screw up the world more then it already will be from a nuclear explosion in NYC would be. So that's a good thing.
BUT, it's still not going to stop any explosion and Peter no matter how bad he feels about it should have just been honest with Hiro of all peeps!

Yeah, but if they get rid of Sylar, who is going to be the villian next season?

Read the new graphic novel, there's plenty of people who could be villians.

what if Save the Cheerleader, Save the world actually meant, that the explosion in NYC is not the problem but Sylar is.
By saving the Cheerleader, Peter got her power, and Sylar did not.
Therefore Peter will be able to kill Sylar in the future, Thus saving the world.

But the explosion is what causes the future, whether it's Sylar or Peter who the public blames, people will still be afraid of these people with genetic mutations.
and that's the kind of rift that HiroPrime wanted to prevent.
and Hiro only thought Sylar was the problem, it was acctually Peter.

Exactly. Hiro needs to know that it's PETER that causes the explosion not Sylar. Sylar is still a nasty problem that needs handeling but he can wait until the figure out a way to keep Peter away from that dude with the Nuclear abilities.

LOL - Well, I guess he felt there would be no good to come of him annoucing he was the one responsible. Bit cowardly but at the same time he probably kept it secret so his brother could make it to be President.
But you're right - Hiro needs to know that it was really Peter so that he can actually try and help stop it from happening.
Still.....at least Peter was able to take action in one episode - sure he felt bad and was bitter but he pulled it together to help out his friends. Sure Clark pulls it together now and again - and when he does yeah it makes me smile like a dork - wish it wouldn't be so random....;)

Maybe when Peter meets with that radioactive guy, he'll absorb his powers. As with new powers, esp. as strong as this, Peter won't be able to control it. He really need to revisit that invisible guy to learn how to use and control his powers. He probably sometimes doesn't even know he has attracted all these powers.

Isaac set a path for hiro to follow with his comic book. Doesn't Isaac show hiro who is responsible for the bomb and how to stop the bomb from going off. Maybe we'll learn more in the last episode.

That is most likely how Peter gets the powers. Either that, or Sylar does eat ole Teddy boys brains after all and then runs into Peter pretty soon afterwards.
The Invisible Man guy is probably gone for good. That acter is pretty famous for not returning to a TV series after his initial contract is up. I don't think there is much else that dude could do to help Peter anyways. All he was doing was forcing Peter to actually use his powers willingly and not just let them come out on their own as a reflex. Peter can easily practice that on his own.

Maybe he does but we haven't seen that yet. For right now, we know that it's Peter that blows up NY because he flat out said that he did. So the fact still remains that "Future Peter" had a vital peice of information that he's keeping to himself instead of sharing with the rest of the class. It's like Clark just keeping crap to himself like Lex becoming Zod and Fine is dangerous because he's a glorified Kryptonian Toaster Oven, etc. etc.

Still if Peter had told Hiro then chances are Hiro would have been knocked on the head and forgotten about it....
