I am too lazy to check a bunch of threads. I was just wondering about this. I can't think of anywhere on the show where they used this, so where does it come from?

I don't think it was used on the show, I think everyone just called him that in the beginning because they didnt give him a name and the glasses were a pretty unique defining feature.

Yeah, what does HRG stand for? Maybe it has something to do with his name or title.

It stands for Horn Rimmed Glasses.

Matt Parkman called him "the man with Horn Rimmed Glasses" in an episode but it was before he knew he was called Bennet.

No-one has called him HRG though.

tptb do refer to him as HRG when they are talking about the show. But yes, just that one ep.

I am pretty sure in the last .07% Parkman referred to him as HRG, but I could be mistaken.

They were looking at glasses and she did pick up a pair and say she liked these, but there was no mention of HRG styles.
