i almost thought she was going to say "please, just call me lana."

I would hate being called that too, then again, i would have never married, let alone dated lex luthor.

^^Yeah...I thought she'd say something similar, like "Ms. Lang is fine..."

The thing is, I don't think we're the only ones who saw her flinch. I think the Doctor also saw it, and that's why he seems so accusatory when he talked about the hormones. The question is...did Lex pay him to be so rude???

what bothered me is that the doctor accused her, when he should have known she didn't do it to herself. if she had done it to herself, she wouldn't have let him do any tests on her to figure out why she miscarried, and she wouldn't have been so upset to find out there was never one.

I agree that the doctor was in the wrong, but my interpretation is that he thought Lana wanted to look "innocent" when she was really (in his opinion) a lying manipulator who scammed an innocent hearted millionaire into marrying her. (Geez that sounds so ridiculous, when you know the truth...but either the doctor seriously thought it, or he was paid to, IMO)

I found that strange that Doctor accused her of that. So much for bedside manners and hippocratic oath in that Doctor.

at first, I thought that was a low blow, but after thinkin about it, what did Lana say to Lex, I don't want people thinking I married you because of this baby, now if I was that person, I may have agreed in saying those exact words saying oh you tried to get him to marry you being that he's rich etc, which many people sometimes assume. But again, everyone in that town should really know how Lex is and you would def be thinkin the other way, so either way lol:lol:
You can tell the doctor was concerned when he mentioned about that wasn't your baby that you saw.

Yes, I think she did flinch. I actaully liked that scene with her and the doctor. I understand why the doctor thought it was Lana doing this to bag a rich husband espeacilly if he didn't know Lana that well. With the rich it's something that's kind of assumed that the small town beauty would marry for money. But then once he got Lana's reaction he seemed regretful for his accusation.

What else was the doctor to think, Lana is a college drop out, without a skills or distinction, who went to like in the mansion of a billionaire, she began the sexual relationship with him, how else could the doctor reguard her except as a scheming little whore, ( and he's not far off the mark ).

Actually good thing you brought that up cos i too DID notice Lana flinching when the doc called out Mrs Luthor. Sheesh just goes to show how pointless the marriage was!

As much as I disliked the marriage itself, I don't think it was "pointless" because the marriage demonstrated the lengths the Luthors (especially Lex) would go to get what they (he) want(s).
