Awww.....I liked that this episode was mainly about Chloe. I felt so bad about what happened to Chloe's mom. :( I'm glad that they focused on her for a change.

And Chloe once again stood up to Lex....hope she can keep standing up to him - even when he's pushing her around at the Planet.

I was happy to see a slightly evil Lex.

Oh, yeah. Chloe is no wimp. It takes a lot of guts to stand up to Lex after that threat.

Damn, lex was scary in that scene with chloe. First her mother gone again and now lex is on her back.

Yup - Chloe is gonna have to stand her ground. She's never had a problem doing it thus far - now that Clark's more of a take-action kinda guy I think that Lex better watch his back - the JL/Clark/Chloe are more organized than he gives them credit for.

Yep, did you see how Clark didn't even hesitate to say that Lex was now in his crosshairs at the end?

And now that they have Lana firmly on their side with the baby and all, Lex might be in for it.

Yep, did you see how Clark didn't even hesitate to say that Lex was now in his crosshairs at the end?

Yep, but I don't doubt that Lex wasn't already in his crosshairs.

hell yeah - Clark is a big gun - Lex just doesn't fully realize that yet - sure he's got some ideas but he hasn't gotten a real taste yet. Mess with Chloe and you're gonna get a lot of trouble - not just from Clark but from the JL too.

yeah Chloe was gripping at the end...as mom slipped back into never never land. Kudos to Clark too for keeping it together. Both of his women(Lana & Chloe) were catching hell this episode. And he had to deal with the ole green rock.

Not a perfect 10 for me - but one of the better episodes hands down. Really well acted and good job with the writing. Hope they keep it up til the season finale. Of course - Smallville has always had awesome season finales - would be nice if the whole year was a huge season finale....;)

Agree, both girls got it bad tonight but for once clark said/did everything right by them.Espcially chloe,he was truly there for her when she needed and definitely concern when he heard she was bein threaten. In the moira/chlark scene,he looked as tho he wanted to say sumthin to cheer her up but couldn't.Glad he come put chloe sort of at ease back in the last scene

I agree. Clark 'said/did' everything just about right tonight. And it was great how Clark was there for Chloe.

I wouldn't say Lana is on their side now; it's not like she wasn't warned repeatedly about Lex but she wouldn't listen. She wanted all that moneyed trips to Paris and said she wanted Lex. If she's suddenly back to saying Clark and Chloe were right then it says simply she cares only for herself. I mean, who was it that endangered Chloe by locking her in the cold wine cellar with a boogered door handle so she could see Clark in action with no care for hurting her supposed friend? THe only person Lana really cares for is the girl she sees in the mirror in the morning. SHe's not on the side of right, she's just on the side that's good for Lana.

She should get along great with Lionel then. Maybe she did marry into the right family after all. :\

Chloe continues to be an AMAZING person. She just might be the ultimate catalyst that brings Farm Boy into his true destiny.

Allison....my aim is true. :)

I like Chloe. It was nice to give her the well deserved spotlight. I miss the spunky truth seeking reporter and I hope she digs deep into what Lex is up to and then tells the world.

I agree with you SupeK, as much as I love this Chloe now .....I miss Season 5 Chloe .....last episode was important for her ....but I want her to investigate and make a story on her own, and I Love CHLARK they make a great team together.......donīt get me wrong ......but there are things you must do it alone ..........

Yeah and some things it is wise to have your superpal by your side. Getting in Lex's crosshairs if dangerous.

I'm glad to see there was some real heart in this episode. So much of this season has been filled with nothing but hatred and angst between Clark and Lex over Lana.

She has really become this person, even the "good" things she does are ultimately for her in some way. So sad.

I also agree that I was glad to see some Chloe- dealing with 'Freak' and her mother.

'Promise' featured Chloe only as quickly as possible- the in between for Lex & the wedding and as a reason for Lana to spy on Chlark. Thats all as well, Promise really was the death of Clana. At least I had hoped so, before that ridicoulous hospital scene.
'Get through this like I always have'. *Roll eyes* Lana's always the princessy victim and Chloe's the courageous one biting off more than she can chew, but occasionally saving Chlark. In my opinion, she's Chlark's link to humanity.

In 'Combat' Chlark was too fueled by emotion to be there for her during her invitation to talk about it with her 'super sluething is my new ability'.

It was good to see Chlark remembered his 'Bomb Squad' promise.
