Spider-Man Pilot (story version)

Alright I decided to try again with my Spider-Man Pilot but this isn't the script version this is the story version.

Hope no one minds that :).

But I'll begin soon if anyone is interested.

Prologue

Norman Osborn walked into the lab at Oscorp to look at the spiders.

These arachnids though weren't your ordinary spiders. The newly created performance enhancers were now coursing through its multi-legged veins.

Suddenly Osborn's cell phone rang.

'This better not be bad news. I can't afford anymore bad news...' Norman thought massaging his temples quickly for a moment before picking up grabbing his cell phone.

Norman Osborn was a man you would not want to confront face to face if you could help it. Just his presence itself was foreboding. He was a tall man about 6 foot or so. Plus he was very buff, something you might not expect from someone involved in a scientific company. Today though he was now in kind a of a bad mood.

Before the spiders he'd seen tests with one of the "wisest minds" grand battle suits. The project had just gone to hell and a half. The spiders and the enhancers were the only thing that stood between Oscorp and the beginning of the end.

"Yes?"

"No!"

"There is no way...ahh...you sure that’s the only way?"

"Fine!"

Norman then stormed out of the lab almost crushing a spider as well. In his rage he'd kind of tossed a beaker.

Yet as he left he wondered if anyone else was having as bad a morning as him.

Little did Norman know Peter Parker probably could relate.


Peter woke up in quite a hurry. Alarm buzzing as he hurried to get dress.

Though the alarm was getting on his nerves.

'Stupid thing.'

So then Peter unplugged it as he finally finished dressing and then headed off to the kitchen.

Peter Parker was well different then others at school. Where some would consider watching football or basketball just amazing, Peter would perform countless chemistry experiments.

Yet Peter did enjoy regular activity aside from his obsession with science. Peter though was never really a fan of school right now.

Sure he had his friends, his best friend and next door neighbor Mary Jane Watson, and Harry Osborn rich son of "Storming Norman Osborn",but on the other hand he had to deal with almost constant teasing and pranks from Flash Thompson.

Flash was on the basketball team at school, your typical blond haired, blue eyed, very stupid jock. Somehow though he was very popular.

Flash and his posse had made high school a hell hole for Peter pretty much since they'd arrived.

For the most part Pete ignored them...or tried. They were just so damn irritating.

In fact they'd probably make fun of his clothes today.

Peter didn't care though. Besides he liked his somewhat geekish style.

Today he'd worn some old darker colored jeans and a dark red colored Superman shirt. And to rap up his look for today his silvery gray Nikes.

Not the best choices but hey laundry day was tomorrow so he'd be ready to wear something else later.

As Peter entered the kitchen he passed a mirror but didn't really look back.

Peter never really cared that much about what he looked like but I mean he was definitely no Flash Thompson. He had to be honest he was pretty lame.


He could barely lift a hundred thirty pounds where as most of the other benched twice as much. Plus he was pretty skinny at a whopping 146 at first glance he was pretty much skin and bone.

Plus Peter wore glasses that annoyingly drooped down a bit but those weren't bad.

Oh well at least his eyes were normal.

They were a cool brown color.

Suddenly Peter smelled his Aunt May's famous wheat cakes.

Yeah wheat cakes, your "healthier" version of pancakes.

He spotted Aunt May but didn't say anything as he took his seat.

He had been hoping for something different but it looked like that wasn't in the cards this morning. Peter didn't complain though and grabbed his fork and knife as Aunt May slung about 3 of the pancakes on his plate.

Then Peter heard the familiar ruffling as his Uncle Ben set down his newspaper and grumbled something he'd read in the news. Most of the time it was something about one of his favorite teams losing.

"Can't believe it the Yankees lost again, ever since they got that new guy..."

Peter smiled as his uncle registered his presence.

"Oh hey Pete how are ya?"

"Fine Uncle Ben."

Then Peter started eating.

The meal was quite, like always not that Peter's uncle or aunt didn't try conversation.

"So Pete how did that science project you and Harry worked on go?"

"Oh, Peter said in between bites, just fine."

In reality though Peter had been working on it for the most part. Harry has tried though its just as soon as Harry had figured something out Peter was already ten steps ahead.

Suddenly before his uncle could say anything else Peter heard the bus.

"That’s the bus, better go. Bye guys."

Peter said hugging his aunt and uncle.

Then Peter grabbed his backpack and barely heard his aunt and uncle as he left.

"Pete remember, tonight we're tackling the garage."

"Peter don't forget to eat dear."

Peter then ran to his stop.

Little did he know that today would be the start of a new life for him.
