Things are moving pretty fast

Lana finds out about Clark, get's married and then in this episode she has a miscarriage. Clark is sounding like he's ready to leave Smallville when he's talking to Martha. I think next season will be the last one because they are moving pretty quick.

I agree, and I'm glad that clark sounds like he's ready to leave, it's about time!

Clark was very emotional, and he may sound like he is ready to leave Smallville now . . . but things can change pretty fast on this show. Lana certainly did not want to marry Lex, and if she can somehow escape, I see nothing to prevent Lana and Clark from getting back together again.

Of course, it is very interesting that Lana knows that Clark has superpowers. We don't know if she realizes that he is Kryptonian like the guys from the ship in season 5, but she should be able to figure it out. And once she knows he is Kryptonian and everything, that should allow Clark and Lana to find closure for their relationship.

Not to mention that Lois is reporting and writing for The Inquisiter, Lex is getting more evil, and Lionel is probably going to die at the end of this season, beginning of next. Michael Rosenbaum is leaving after Season 7 and im sure other actors contracts end then soon, so i believe that theyre wrapping up the series in 7 seasons but kind of leaving it open, just in case they decide to come back for a Season 8 or spin-off.

Yeah, but when you say quick you don't take all the aspects of the situation into consideration since you're looking at another persons life. Our lives move quickly without us even noticing it but because you're looking at another persons life from your perspective you are like "LOL TOO QUICK".

The wheels are in motion. Season 7 will probably be the last. The writers seem to know this now. As sad as it is for "Smallville" is my favoirte show, 7 Seasons is an awesome run never the less. They are wrapping things up slowly but at a fast pace at the same time. Season 7 i believe will be Clark-centric.
