They should get their own credit, they were amazing in this episode with showing so many different emotions Lana was going through, throughout this episode!

Awesome!

Yeah, Kristin has the most expressive eyes. She was so amazing in this ep especially her scenes with Tom.

Terrific, especially toward the end.

She went from completely devastated to trying to fool Lex in a heartbeat. You could almost feel the ups and downs like a roller coaster. Just plain great.

The scene with Lex, Lionel and Lana was also near perfection of duplicitousness for three people.

She was amazing. Especially in the wine cellar. Her eyes are so expressive. And when she was sitting in front of the mirror in her room....I basically recreated Niagra Falls. Kudos to Kristom. They work so well off each other.

Its about time they gave her something worth while... the scene after the ceremony where she wants to cry and has to hold it in... that was great!!!!

I wish they would write Lana like that all the time...I'd actually like her.

Obviously every single writers favorite character is Lana, cuz this episode felt all about her, as it should be, shes the bride.

I gasped when she walked down the aisle, cuz even though I read the spoilers, I was still in suspense.

watch kk in metamorphasis, then in exodus, then in crisis, hidden then in arrow, then NOW. she has DEFINATELY. IMPROVED. and grown, shes just fantastic, she deserves to be smallville's leading lady

She had many great scenes. The first part when Clark saw her writing, she looked so ethereal. Then how she morphed from frightened to happy seeing Lex in the morning. Another part was the one-tear drop.

I think she's a good actress but that whispery voice she does grates on my last nerve.

Actually many women speaks that way, ex: Jane Seymour whisper a lot. She definitely sound better now than in S1 & 2

Yes, her eyes were wonderful. It made that scene so much more than it would have been otherwise-it was a BIG Smallville moment and TPTB made her act it out with only her EYEBALLS! She was great.

Throughout her scenes with Lex and Clark at the end, she really did do a great job of switching back and forth from happy to tormented. I got exactly what was going through Lana's mind.

Definitely her best episode ever.

Yeah I REALLY felt bad for her. Thats the sign of good acting, you feel the first half of the emotion and the audience feels the second half. A really great drama teacher told me that once. I kept thinking "I can't believe what the writers are doing to her" :(

Despite how horrible and the utter disrespect they've treated her character with, KK did an awesome job. Her acting with the eyes during the wine cellar scene is pitch perfect.

She should win a emmy for this i felt her pain lionel rtnd to his old self that evil sob he has Lex by the balls and has Lana trapped in a very tough spot. Despite me being a Clois fan i didn't think i would feel this way about Lana but after this episode. This was another Romeo and Juliet the anger that developed when their love flourished (the Montagues and the Capulets) I could just sense the foreshadowing of the fate of Lana and her character.

I'm so impressed by how she turns the water works on at the drop of a hat.

I would imagine that has to be one of the hardest things to do. There's a camera jammed in your face, a ton of people standing around, director calls action and you have to cry on cue. Wow.

She was soooo amazing!! I think this episode was one of her best yet.

She's grown to be such a wonderful actress, I wish she were on a big show so she could be rewarded for her job.

Bravo Kristin!!!

She was phenomenal!! I could feel all of the emotions the character was going through.....and boy were there MANY!!! Those expressive eyes of hers made that "secret reveal" AMAZING....it could have easily come off as unfeeling since the focus was just on her eyes but boy it was anything but that....you could just feel the flood of mix emotions going through in processing everything she was seeing and hearing as she hid there.....very powerful!

and when she was crying in front of the mirror right before Clark came in (after the wedding)....that really got to me...I could feel her devistation...she was just letting it all out but was interrupted with the knock and she quickly tried to put a "happy front" once again.....I loved Kristin's performance there....

I could go on and on....she was just AMAZING!

KK did an amazing job with 'Promise'. Since the very beginning of Smallville I have wondered if the writers would ever make Lana more mature...they have finally accomplished what many of us have waited for. It is so ironic that for years Clark kept his secret from Lana to protect her...and now Lana must keep her love for Clark a secret to protect him.

Not only was KK great in 'Promise'...but her scenes with Tom were exceptional. Tom and Kristin definitely have chemistry protryaing Clark and Lana. Great Job!!!! Great Episode!!!

I loved KK's performance in this episode. There were times when I could'nt believe what I was seeing. Her eyes and facial expressions were amazing. She did a great job of using her body to show what she was going through and how she was feeling. She looked so nervous just before she asked Chloe to go into the wine cellar because of what she was planning to do. I almost started to cry myself when she tells Clark "I had a change of heart" at the end. You can really tell how she feels by listening to the tone of her voice in that scene. And she definitely held her own in the scene with John Glover.

Bravo to Kristen and Tom. I was not too impressed with the writing in this episode but the actors made this an entertaining episode.
