Charles Deveaux seems to be a major point of interest in the heroes world. Lets look at what we know about him so far.

1.) He was Simone's Dying father that Peter was taking care of in the first episode.

2.) The apartment he lived in was the location of many important meetings.
* Where Peter first demonstrated his power.
* Where Claude visited from time to time and where he chose to train Peter.
* Where HRGs organization had met at one time. Possibly once, possibly multiple times.
* Where Simone betrayed Peter.
* Where HRG became the father of Claire.
* Our view of the New York explosion.

3.) Right before his death, Peter appeared to Charles either in a dream or as a visitor from the future. Flew around with him and told him everything was going to be ok.

4.) He is possibly the Hero that Claude was hiding.

Was he one of the people with special abilities? Did he have the ability to astral project himself, like many believe? If not, what was his ability. Why is his apartment building grand central station for events related to the heroes. How does he tie to the other heroes and does he tie to Mohinder's father in some way?

Let the speculation begin

Oooh. I really like this. Seriously. I realy like this. Like I cannot express this with typing. I truly believe there may be something there. He seemed to insignificant to have as much time as he did on screen. Perhaps we overlooked him all this time when he is connected to a lot of things. I especially like the thouht of him being the one Claude was hiding. VERY interesting theory here.

Yes, Deveaux has to be connected in some way. I don't think it was coincedence that Peters' first job as a hospice nurse was to take care of him either.

I do like this. And I don't think Claude visited from time to time- I think it's implied he lives on the rooftop- he's a hermit. I think it's a significant place which they should explain sometime soon. I think it looks like Charles Deveaux has some connection with the company and some part to play in all this (maybe if Hiro goes back in the past again or in a flashback sequence)
