Favourite actor or actress?

Based on acting talent and not just looks who is everyone's favourite actor and/or actress?

Favourite actors for me are Denzel Washington, he oozes charisma from every pore, Jude Law and Christopher Reeve and not just because he's Superman but because I've seen him in quite a few films and he can do any range from stuck up to Mr Perfect to psychotic. Anyone seen 'A Nightmare in the Daylight'?

My favourite actresses are Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep, Sharon Stone (brilliant in Casino) and Nicole Kidman but for me first place goes to Jodie Foster. She never fails to amaze me with every performance.

hrm...favorite actor has always been Hugh Grant and Bruce Willis. favorite actress would have to be Sandra Bullock (yes its just a coincidence, i loved two weeks notice tho) and kirsten dunst, im not exactly sure why. maybe because i love spiderman:D:D

My favorite actor in terms of talent is Philip Seymour Hoffman (not sure about the spelling), and my favorite actress? Well, I understand looks aren't a factor, although I like the way she looks, but I'm gonna say Mia Kirshner. She has no limits to what she'll do, and no problem taking on the hard parts. Like Hoffman, she tends to work in smaller or independent stuff, although I understand she is now in a cable series called 'the L word', but since I haven't seen it yet, I'll go by movie performances (leaving out "Dracula the Series") and say Mia.

I'm amazed at how many people don't know who he is but when you tell them a film he's been in they've seen it. He can make himself look extraordinarily different, especially in Flawless which he filmed alongside The Talented Mr Ripley.

I could write down thousands and thousands of people, but I´ll narrow down my list to only a couple.

Personally, I think Brendan Fraser is awesome. He knows how to get into his characters. He convinced me as a caveman in Encino Man and as a hardrocker in Airheads and he really got to show off those skills in Bedazzled. I saw him in a documentary on E!, where he told about waiting in line on an airport when a baby resting on his mom´s shoulder recognized him from George of The Jungle, pointed at Brendan and said "George". The mom was shocked because the baby hadn´t even said "daddy" yet! Now that´s what I call making an impact!

Another one I like is Charlie Sheen, mostly for his comedic acting. I love him as Topper Harley in the Hot Shots movies, when he pulls all those weird lines and everything with a straight face. For the same reason I love Ramada (forgot her real name) and when she´s interacting with Topper.
