Shouldn't the hatian have been able to neutralize peter on the balcony? Do you think he went back to Texas with his boss?

Good point, maybe he wasn't ready for Peter to go off the ledge so quick.

That is something to think about for sure. Maybe the Hatian is deliberatly not using the power because he doesn't approve of what HRG is doing, just like not wiping Claire's memory.
That may be the way they are going to develop the Hatian's character and make him part of the team.

So far, the Hatian has only been about to block 'mental powers' from a distance.

Perhaps to block Peter's 'physical powers' it would require him touching him, like when Eden charmed Sylar in Odessa, and the Hatian grabbed Sylar's head from the back.

I don't think there has been any examples of the Hatian blocking an active (non-mental power) over any spacial distance.

how about when Peter stopped the stun gun midfire. Wouldn't that be a mental power?

I think when Peter takes on the Haitian's powers, they cancel out, so Peter is still able to use his other powers. (He's able to see the invis guy when he copies his power for example)

The Haitian's disrupting power seems to be automatic... like when Matt was trying to read his mind and the Haitian didn't even know he was there... this lends credence to my theory :)

yeah im gonna go with you on this one and say the haitian cant powerblock peter at all because if the powers automatic then peter would be doing the same thing without even realizing he just got a new power lol. so the two would cancel out and peter would be like P{EACE and fly away like a boss

Well we don't know that HRG or the Hatian knew that Matt and the cops were there. We know they didn't find anything at the paper company. Maybe HRG got word from up above they were in the area and was using their little discussion outside as bait to draw the police in.

I think it just happend to fast for him. Peter sent the "bullet" things to the ground then immediatley threw himself and claude off the building.
