A new kind of Clana?

I felt as though this episode had some major Clana goin on... however it didn't stike me as being at all like the Clana that we have experienced in the rest of the series....tell me what you guys think.

(hahaha i hope the Clana nay-sayers don't cringe/vomit upon viewing this thread)

Clana will get much better once Lana knows Clark's secret. It's the "secrets and lies" that stagnate their relationship that has people annoyed with Clana. I look forward to episodes like "Mortal" and the first scene in "Hidden" when we had happy and in love Clana.

as long as the new clana is like the chlark we're stuck with that i don't like (romantic chlark FTW), I have no problem with clana. But i think something is definitely different. As chloe said, she put herself in danger to protect clark, and clark was protecting her all episode. so now, we know where her loyalties lie, and we've always known where his were.

Ok that's your opinion. At least there is some great drama going on between Clark, Lana and Lex.

I agree there but it is really beginning to bore me. I realize that Clark and Lex are enemies now but why bring Clana back? I don't get it.. but it is my opinion..

I doubt the old Clana will ever come back. Something closer to a friendship will be the result of all of this. I just feel that even with Lana knowing his secret it will still end quickly.

I don't think there will ever be a romantic Clana again, and rightfully so, that horse has been beaten over and over agian.

It is however, time for a friendship Clana, though I don't know how it will fit in with the Clark and Chloe dynamic that is working so well.

I hope it'll just turn into friendship... But I don't want the drama of Clana like in season 5 (and 3,2,....)

I think Chloe, Clark, Lana interaction would be good. Chloe and Lana are good friends, I just don't think I can take anymore angst, please god no chloe jealousy!

No you're right. They are taking steps towards friendship Clana, which I quite like. I liked the part where Lana was staring at all her friend's pics at Clark's place. You could tell she really missed them all.

The only new kind of Clana I think the show should go with is frienship Clana. Anything else will be really stretching credibility, and retreading old ground.

I'm afraid I only am the least bit interested in Lana when she's slipping into her dark moments. She needs to stay with Lex for that. lol

I am all for drama between Clark and Lex, but I can't stand the fact that it's over Lana--or any girl for that matter.

I did enjoy Lex's nastiness to Clark at the end of this episode, but I much prefer Clark/Lex clashes and Lex evilness that is related to either Lex trying to figure Clark out or Lex trying to take over the world, like the battles in the comics. The only way I prefer to see Clex involve a girl is if Lex is using her to make Clark bend to his will or to trap Clark, like in the movies and comics.

I don't enjoy seeing them fight each other over a girl--that's sooo......lame, for lack of a better word--too normal and very un-super-nasty-villain-like.
