So Clark doesn't have to say I'm sorry to his best friend now? What the hell is up with that? I just don't get it.. I'm confused, pissed and REALLLLLYYYYYY disgusted at this point.

Does noone else agree??

I know... and Lois.. and Martha.. damn him. What about Chloe? I guess he just automatically knows she'll forgive him. And why didn't she say something to him about it? I think they blew that whole situation. It could have made for some beautiful scenes.

Now with all the 'freak' and 'progeny' crap, I really have the feeling like AlMiles are about to ruin my favorite character...

What does that say about Chloe that Clark can do horrible things but she will just brush it under the rug? Chloe over Clark? Please.

It says that she loves Clark and always will.. plus, she is just use to getting the raw end of the deal with him but she shouldn't be. She needs to grow some balls where Clark is concerned..

It says that at least one person on this show is willing to support the superhero-to-be, no matter how stupid he (still) behaves...

Will Clark didn't even apologize to Lana also, so its two people that he didn't say i'm sorry to. Or I don't think he said an apologize to Lana.

Maybe they will adress it in the future or maybe they will just allows us to assume that an apology took place, I mean, I don't see anyone doing their bowel movements or changing underwear, buy I assume it happens.

So they can't apologize off screen? I seem to remember people hating the fact that Clark goes around apologizing after he gets off of RedK.

True but seeing her change underwear and having bowel movements isn't a part of a relationship she shares with her best friend either.

Apologize for what? Telling the truth?

maybe its just me, but .. other than Martha, Chloe knows just as much about him. and knows for a fact that he was "doped Up" so i don't think she even feels an apology is nessisary....

but thats just me..

Last night made it perfectly clear that Chloe needs no apology, as a matter-of-fact it was Chloe herself who last week said that Clark was 'beating himself up' over his various rants at Lex's place. She understands the big picture and is not petty.

I think that TPTB simply didn't make this out to be a big problem between Chloe and Clark, but I will admit that Clark apologizing to Lex does look bad when we never received a Chlark seen addressing what happened.

I guess the apology happened in offscreenville.

I think we were meant to assume that they had smoothed things over off screen. I never felt that we needed any scenes of groveling, but an on screen apology would've been nice. However, I don't think we're supposed to think it wasn't addressed and worked out.

Not much about this episode flowed, or made sense. This was just one of many things that was incredibly odd. IMO

I dont think Clark needs to say sorry to Chloe...shes the only one who trully understands him...sure his mom does too but the things he said to Chloe were not nearly as messed up as what he said to his own mother...especially since he brought up his father's death in the process of trying to hurt her.

Nothing made a damn bit of sense to me.. its like they took an episode from every season and redid it in this episode making it hard to follow and even harder to swallow.. damn them for not having Clark at least say, "Ya know, I am sorry." even if Chloe just shrugged and said, "Don't worry about it."...

Think this:

Would you go out with a person that doesn't have the b@lls to say sorry? Even is your friend or you already forget him?
Even was in "Kal-mode", the truth popups.

I wish I could whack those writers in the head.. its about time someone knocked some sense into them.. Clana is old news.. and Clois should NEVER be on Smallville.. it should be all about Chlark.. damn it!

I can't believe they had zero follow up to last week. Jimmy should think Clark's bad news. Chloe should be awkward towards Clark. And Lex is inviting Clark to the wedding? WHAT?

Clark is always an a** to Chloe.

He also continually reminds her how much he loves Lana. Insensitive jerk!

I love Clark, but these last couple seasons he's just been a total jerk sometimes. Especially to Lex. Their broken friendship is as much his fault as Lex's.

LOL, he doesn't have to apologize. He could've punched her through a wall and she would have run back to his side, broken and bloody, but still worshiping him.

I agree that Clark should have apologized, but I think he pretty much did. What's a better apology then fixing it? Didn't he go to Jimmy and do a pretty good job of solving the problem he created? Maybe I'm crazy?

Chloe may not have needed an apology as she understands what RedK does to him, but she probably WANTED an apology from her friend. Cripes, how can he look at her after his actions? Be a man, even if not a Super-man.

As for the apology to Lex, it doesn't wash that he simply says "I wasn't myself." Assuming Lex doesn't know about RedK, what can he think? Clark was taking drugs on his own, making his choice to get high, but isn't responsible for his actions because he was a dope fiend? Not.
