Post here about missed opportunities you noticed in Trespass.

Something I really wanted to hear was Chloe & Clark's discussion continued after Chloe talked about how Lana risked her life keeping the chisel hidden. I really wanted to hear CK's response to that.

I was expecting something else when I heard the title of this episode.

I thought it would be an episode where Lana sneaks in before Clark starts his chores and witnesses a typical day of Clark's with him working, talking to Chloe & his mom. Lana would start going through his stuff (journal that Lois gave him, various drawers & tool chests) whenever he would step out. And then all of a sudden, Lex sends a meteor freak to go after Clark and Lana sees the 2 fighting in the barn. Clark would beat the freak and would eventually find Lana hiding out in the barn. He would blame her for releasing him and would tell her that she is becoming just like Lex with how she wants to test him to see if he's normal. Lana would leave the loft very sad, denying it.

Then at the very end of the episode, we would have a scene with Lex talking to the freak in 33.1 about how he did a good job and we would find out that he released the freak so that Clark would hate Lana just as he hated Lex in Mortal. And that this was a ploy to secure his pending marriage to Lana.

I think this would have made viewers be much more sympathetic to Lana and would have been a killer episode. This was where my main disappointment lied in this episode. I was sure they would do something like this and was very excited to see it.

The end result would be a huge amount of distrust of Lex on Lana's part and it would really advance the storyline.

I would love to have seen an episode doing a day in the life of Clark. It's funny because I read another thread in the General discussion forum and I'm thinking that I wasn't the only one with this thought.

I thought of another situation. What if Lex was the stalker. I know it wasn't presented that way, but it's possible that this will be revealed. It could be that Lex had that guy who killed Brady stalk Lana and test her allegiances and it could be that by doing this, he found out about the chisel (from that photo the guy shot) and took it away from her. It would be brilliant. Who would suspect him? The entire psycho act could have been an act. And had the guy survived the fall, he would have told Lex that Lana never wanted any of this as she said to him.

I would like to have seen more of a fallout from Clark's actions last week. A discussion with Martha over what he said to her, and a confrontation with Chloe would have been appropriate.

Then again, did Lana have any concern or thoughts after being saved by Clark (again) after last week he tried to kidnap (and one presumes rape) her??

It seems Disney's Fantasyland is a more real place than Smallville....

Can you rape the willing? He dragged her to the loft but he didn't force her arms around his neck and pucker her lips.
If they had sex, she would forget how to spell Lex's name if you spotted her the L and X.
Lexana is as tasty as dishwater (I have to assume that's REALLY bad) but I still enjoy Clana even if it's just another angsty tease.
:D

Does anyone agree with me that Lex could have been the real stalker and set everything up? I wish Trespass was set up like that, but that doesn't mean we won't find this to be true in a few episodes.

Lex looking at the tapes of Clark catching Lana. He should have security cameras in that room since it was stated that he only took out the one in Lana's room.
