The Shining

This episode definitely payed homage to The Shining. Evil Security Guy busts open Lana's room with an ax and then chases her through the snow. The only thing missing were a maze and the guy saying "Here's Johnny!"

Definitely one of the show's few highlights tonight.

Definately uses some the most dramatic elements of "The Shining". When I saw him pull that axe off the wall it all came back. That movie used to scare me!!!

Yeah, there was definately a Shining tribute there. Good Stuff.
I also felt I times I was watching the movie Scream for some reason as well.
