Why doesn't Lex have any security outside Chloe's door?

If I were Lex, there would be someone no farther than 10 feet from Lana.

I'd have 10 guards, 2 in the apartment, 2 outside of the door, 2 outside of the talon, and the rest would pick up food, preferably from a fast food chain.

That's just me though. Lex's security aren't the brightest bunch.
