Sylar snuck up on Claire's dad. I wouldn't want to be in his position.

Yeah I know right? What was that thing sticking out of his head?

As much as I hate HRG, I wouldn't wish Sylar on him. Especially since we know that will lead him to Claire.

yeah.

what WAS that thing? it looked like a bolt, or a screw. weird.

I don't think he noticed it. lol. I just hope Sylar doesn't turn into the villian that they kill off at the end of the Season and move on to a new one. I think he should stick around for a long time.

It was stupid of HRG to leave the doctor with Sylar, unguarded. \

Sad to say, but you might be right. Sylar will end up being just that. A seasonal threat. Then again if he was such a badass, he shouldn't have been that easy to catch.

I guess the Hatain was off with Claire while Sylar is moving in on HRG

True but half the threat to him is now dead. Seasonal threat or not I wanna see his story unfold.

yeah, but i don't want him to just keep popping up like they do in x men with magneto. or whoever it is they have now. i think he should stay for awhile, but more and more come up, then he can die, or dissapear and not come back. whatever.

or take a temporary leave of absence and pop up again when no one expects him to in some later season catching some hero off guard.

yeah, BUT THEN GET RID OF HIM. I do NOT want this turning into some live action Xmen show. at all. if i wanted that i'd read the comics. but please, let the villians go. do not bring the freakin' charecters back to life a million times over.

True enough I guess. But this isn't X-men. I doubt they'll do the thing where everyone ends up dieing at one point and comes back. That's sorta annoying.

I went back and looked at it again. It looks like a syringe/brain tap sort of thing. I guess they were inside his head ...literally. Maybe draining off fluids and studying them.

I personally don't think Sylar will last through this whole season. I like him and want to see more of him.. but for some reason I think his story is wrapping up in the next couple of episodes.. I see him as a big character that will open a bigger door for the plot to continue through..

Just a feeling. There is some big stuff on the horizon. :) fun show.

I bet the Haitian comes back in the nick of time, but then I guess Syler wouldn't escape.

I guess they have to work some sort of compromise...

I say Sylar disappears for a while after next week or the week after. Either by choice(read escape) or by force (captured while trying to escape and put into cold storage. Meanwhile our story will shift to Hiro's sword search and what Linderman has to do with our story.

Just a thought, Why would Sylar take away HRG's HRGs? as shown in the coming weeks preview. Do they have something to do with an ability we don't know about or are they possible protection?

HRGs are more then HRGs??? or maybe he just throws them off in anger. or something. or sylar tears them off so HRGsman can't see.

The white thing sticking out of Sylar's head was a "Shunt".

According to the commentary on the website:

http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/video/commentary.shtml

The producer said it was a shunt for draining "stuff" from his brain.

Yeah he just conviently leaves HRG alive. I guess he only kills people with powers. That's nice of him.

Or maybe the glasses somehow block mental intrusion which if he did not have any powers to begin with, would make sense as two of the people who he has worked with [Haitian and Eden] have powerful mental abilities and w/o protection he would have been shark bait long ago. Also explains how Matt could not read him even up close. Yeah the Haitian always seems to be around but I think his ability might not be related.

That'd be a nice twist. Super glasses.
