Okay. after watching Labyrinth, I have come to the conclusion that the writers/producers of the show are going to bring back the classic triangle. . . CHLARKANA!

CHLARK and CLANA fans had reason to rejoice tonight, but I'm not too sure if I like the idea of bringing back this triangle. The only way that I would be happy with this "new" triangle is that instead of Clark heavily pursuing Lana, he aggressively pursues Chloe, while Lana persistently pursues Clark. I want Clark to wake and smell the coffee. I almost died tonight when he told Chloe that he still loved Lana, BUT what gave me HOPE was when he said that "You mean more to me than you know." I definitely saw some CHLARK SPARKS:p

So, what do ya'll think about the producers possibly bringing back the CHLARKANA triangle? Also, do you think that Clark will realize that he wants Chloe and pursue her, while Lana is chasing after Clark? Please tell me what ya'll think.

I know I cant wait! It was made obvious Chloe still loves Clark, Chloe means more to Clark than she knows, and Lana told Clark "I knew you'd come to find Chloe". Clana: "Weren't we just saying goodbye" (or sumthing along those lines) and Lana telling Clark "your destiny isnt to save the world, its to be with me forever!" (again not a direct quote) :lol: . It is reborn.

The triangle is back but Chloe would not be the one doing the pining which is good. But I don't want to see anymore triangles.

I really don't want to see another triangle either, but if that's what it takes for the BDA to realize that Chloe is the GIRL OF HIS DREAMS , then I am all for it. Like you, I don't want to see Chloe pining for Clark, which I don't think that she will. The writers of SV really need to fulfill the infamous FEVER LETTER, IMHO. It would be awesome if they reintroduced it again, but I don't think that they will. Let's just hope that Clark will be the one doing all of the pining:p

I agree they r settin up the triangle but wit clark chasin chloe to fix his mess.And to show that he does value her more than she knows,plus wit her assumin he'd pick lana all the time its gives him a chance to prove his statements to her.So yea he'll be chasin her if the triangle returns and chloe wont believe he feels diff for her or can get over lana so she'll be in denial for awhile.While lana will learn the secret and try to make things work,so if it happens It'll most likely happen how u predict

I agree,and thought it was funny he said he still luved her after all she said to him at the asylum at the end.I thought his decision was clear but guess tptb want to buildup the clexana triangle sum more so they had to get clark to fess up to justify him kidnappin her next week.But once she learns the secret then both girls r equal in havin a chance wit clark,so if he does pick chloe it wont be by default cause she'll want sum convincin that he's finally moved on from lana.So I cant wait either

I definitely don't see this triangle starting up. I think that the main triangle is clexana and TPTB have specifically said that it is coming back.

I agree dont really need anymore triangles but wit oliver and soon jimmy gone,and lois not havin many more epi to appear in they have to focus on the main 4 again.And tonight setup 2 triangles wit clexana/chlarkana wit both clark/lana havin to chose.So I'm expectin lana to learn the secret and try to get clark to want more wit her and wonder why he wont take the chance wit her now,she may even find out his feelings for chloe is changin and tries to get clarks attention again(Since she seemed alil upset that chloe knew and she didn't).But I definitely dont mind chlarkana if its a reversal wit clark pinin/pickin chloe this time and lana pinin for him.Clark will try to work thru lana new knowledge of his secret/get her away from lex but lana will want more than his protection,at the same time clark will try to fix his relationship wit chloe since he'll cause chlimmy to split cause of his mix feelings.Havin chloe not believe his confession completely next week an have her backoff cause she thinks he's not over lana will have clark to choose this season jus as he did in s2.Back then he knew chloe's feelings for him(Which is why he felt guilty about tellin her about clana)and felt sumthin 2 yet wanted to fix things wit lana more.This season he'll know lana has feelings(From hydro and possibly after she learns the secret and runs to him)yet tries to fix things wit chloe.So it'll be a switch of s2 but I'm expectin the outcome to be diff :D

It may be the main 1 but its not the only 1,I think tonight setup both clexana for next week and chlarkana for the rest of the season.Since chloe has to rethink her closeness to clark which I think is due to him not makin up his mind wit lana and draggin her in the middle wit confessin his feelings/jimmy noticin hers.So I think they setup both triangles tonight but of course it doesn't suprise me u didn't see it :p naw jus kiddin

Sorry to dissapoint you, but in a recent interview Al Gough stated that the triangles will change (he was referring to the CLANA fans as a way for them to keep watching), meaning that a new, or should I say classic, triangle is going to be introduced. . .CHLARKANA! There was A LOT of EVIDENCE tonight suggesting for this set-up.

#1 In the AU, Clark has to choose between Chloe and Lana; he doesn't know who to believe, but in the end, he chases after Chloe (which I think will happen in the RW since this triangle has now been reintroduced).

#2 Chloe is the only person besides MM who believes that he has superpowers (she's definitely not crazy), while Lana wants him to be normal so that they can be together. Lana even says that your destiny is not to save mankind but to be with me. Chloe, on the other hand, wants to help Clark save the world.

#3 Clark tells Chloe in the RW that he still loves Lana (the hurtful look on Chloe's face was significant), BUT then he tells Chloe that he doesn't know what he would do without her and that she means more to him than she knows.

These are just a few signs pointing towards. . .CHLARKANA. Sorry, but I DEFINITELY saw this triangle being REBORN tonight.

strangely, i dont think it's going to be a "triangle" per se...so Lex after Lana, Lana after Clark...but i really dont believe that Clark will want Lana back romantically...

yeah he loves her, but is he really gonna go back with her after she is having Lex's baby and almost marrying him?...nah

Well, IMO, he meant that the clexana triangle will change as lexana dies out and the triangle points more toward Clana. He never said that a new triangle was going to be introduced, he just said that they change. And there can be no Chlarkana triangle if Lex is still in the picture when it comes to Lana. That would be a rectangle.

Well I wouldn't do that jus yet,clark seem to get it in his head that he needs to move on which is why he stopped the phantom.But its about him admittin it,in his head he knows he jus has to accept it.Plus we knew there would be chlark tension and I think tonight set it up wit him tellin chloe he still luved lana.Cause then when he tries to show sumthin more for chloe she'll think he's lyin and he'll have to prove hisself jus like AM says.It was clear tptb r settin up the triangles of clexana/chlarkana for later wit clark havin to make a decision so dont lose that hope yet.tho tptb r stuck on clana I dont think its comin back romantically atleast not beyond the redk moments next week.Once she learns the secret things will change,u jus feel like AlMiles will never let clark change because clark still feels guilty.Once lana learns the secret everythin will change,her comments tonight about his destiny not bein to save the world but to be wit her will soon click.She'll want more after she learns the secret and he knows he has to leave soon and can't go thru the clana trama anymore.So dont worry tonight he gave out mix signals yes but its obvious thats because she doesn't kno the secret,that'll change next week along wit his opinion

which could also mean the chlarkana triangle as well u cant quite rule 1 out yet accept another.Imo it was both setup tonight wit possibility,so I disagree :p

Yeah, but I'm accepting the one that has been spoken about by TPTB and rejecting the one that hasn't been spoken about. Chlimmy is still sort of a triangle so I think it's jumping the gun to now make up a new triangle in Clark/Lana/Chloe when Jimmy and Lex are still in the picture.

I think you make a good point about the triangles "changing" I mean the show started with 3 supposed triangles with Clark in each one so it is very possible that the triangles can change. They are going to start narrowing down some triangles little by little. We are just a little over half way through the season. I don't understand why all season they would drop so many hints towards Chlark. I mean almost every episode there is some sort of look or hint. Plus AL said that Clana was over so....he says quite a few things that he may or may not stick to. He was very vague when he mentioned the triangle in the interview. Who knows we'll see though.

Okay, if you have just CLANA, then there is ALSO no triangle. What I am referring to is the classic triangle between CLARK/CHLOE/LANA. There will be a lot of tension between the three of them. My prediction is that Lana will be upset/jealous with Chloe for knowing Clark's secret the past two years, thus pitting the girls against one another. Chloe will see Lana and Clark getting close again, because she now knows the truth and will feel like she is no longer needed. I think that she will also try to avoid Clark after the Chlimmy break-up, so he won't hurt her again. Clark will soon realize just how IMPORTANT Chloe is to him (HUGE SIGNS IN LABYRINTH ALREADY), and then I think he'll chase after her.

As far as Lex is concerned, there will still be a CLEXANA traingle, which will have NOTHING to do with CHLARKANA. You know, there can be more than one triangle. CLEXANA is just the main one.

Yes, as many of us have said for a long time now, the Chloe/Clark/Lana triangle has come back.

It'll just be... reversed!

No longer will we have Chloe -> Clark -> Lana, but Lana -> Clark -> Chloe.

Well put! I couldn't have said it better. The Chlarkana triangle is definitely not new and the Clexana triangle came after the Chlarkana triangle so its subjective as to which the main triangle is.

I don't get why Chlarkana or whatever it's called is so appealling. Chloe just ends up getting the shaft because Clark refuses to let go of his Lana obsession. Just look at Labyrinth as proof! Clark damn near gave up his powers for Lana! If it wasn't for Shelby barking AND Lana's face fading away from the glass, Clark would be possesed by a damn phantom right now. What's worse? Clark doesn't even seem to acknowledge this because he wuvs wana sooo much. Barf!

Let Chloe move on. It's just pathetic of her to keep making *hurt face* for a guy that clearly doesn't love her like that. No more pining Chloe!!!

And seriously, WHY DO ALL THE FEMALES ON SMALLVILLE HAVE TO BE IN LOVE WITH CLARK KENT ANYWAYS?!!!

:lol: True. But once you realize that there's nothing upstairs, the appeal is gone. It's just that, there seems to be some unwritten rule that ALL the women must fall over backwards in love with Clark and it's really fustrating.

As for the men? Hmm, Lex seemed pretty infuated with him back in the day.... that is until he found out Clark was vacant in the brains department, lol. And who can forget AC?! "Wet and ready, bro!" :eek: It that wasn't a hoyay moment, I don't know what is!
